Now now, stay realistic. There won't be drastic changes like that.
Or are you really that naive?

Absolutely lifetime dream to walk in a almost lifelike city since gta started doing it.
And GTA keeps improving as well every time.
Just imagine if they would keep expanding the terrain or "fill" in every house/appartment block with people/items.
Eventually we'll have enough processing power to do so.
Just release a 50gb expansion every half year or whatever ....fapfapfapfap | They did, it was called AC Unity and it turned out to be boring as fuck

It means AFAIK that the games are finished and in a state where you'd normally ship them. So yeah, I don't see why that term shouldn't be valid just because digital distribution is more popular than ever.

I have a G910, too, and the app is pretty cool with this game. Actually, Logitech has stated that they intend to release an updated version of the app for the game's release, so who knows what they have in store. The automatic color-coding was a nice touch as an in-game option, though, and I like the inventory shot on the app even in the beta. As far as what the updated version might add: I've heard the software is capable of having things like flashing keys in response to events (low health flashes the medkit key, for example) but nobody can say for sure how invested they'll stay in this game yet.
Also, this keyboard (910) is on sale all the time, I picked it up over Black Friday for <$90 here in the US.

Quote: |
We've already heard some details about how The Division on console will afford players the ability to tweak graphical setting as PC players can, and now, a developer working on the game has shared more. In fact, it sounds like you will be able to change the lighting settings to improve frame rate, if you want.
"You can disable certain lighting aspects to improve frame rates in the console versions," an Ubisoft developer said as part of this Team Epiphany preview (via NeoGAF). "I don't know of another game that does that. So if you want to choose frame rate over visuals, you can if you want."
The ability to change graphical settings is nothing new on PC. Though the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of The Division will let you do this, the PC version will offer more.
"One good thing about The Division is we've always considered the PC as a separate platform," the developer went on to say. "We do have to keep it in check with the consoles; it would be kind of unfair to push it so far away from them. But it's been good having a dedicated PC build for this game."
"I'm really happy that we're pushing the PC build as much as we are; there's a lot more customized options than the console."
Some of the graphical settings console players can tweak include chromatic aberration and the ability to sharpen images. This is a slider that impacts the amount of anti-aliasing that's present.
You can see how the game looks with these various settings over at Eurogamer, which originally reported the news about The Division's console visual settings earlier in the week.
The Division is the first game from Ubisoft Massive that runs on the developer's new proprietary Snowdrop Engine.
After multiple delays, The Division's full release is now scheduled for March 8. An Xbox One bundle featuring a 1 TB system and a copy of the game will be available at launch. Additionally, you can get the game for free with the purchase of a new Logitech mechanical keyboard.
In other news about The Division, modders have already cranked up the game's visuals on PC.

I guess it's a good thing the PC build is separate from the console build but are they limiting it?

....unfair? Why is it unfair? "Whaaa people who spent more on their PC's than I did on my console shouldn't get to have much better visuals!"

So it's unfair to push it away from consolers but it's fair to restrict the PC version when it's quite clearly capable of much more. Um, ye, ok.
It really is sad to see what gaming has become.

I do admit that if they gave consoles watch dogs final version, and the E3 2013 version for PC, the backlash would be too much for them to handle by the peasants.

Than you educate them on the differences that better HW can bring. If they are too stupid to get that... they most likely be too stupid to remember their anger towards you when you release your next game. Seen smarter people with that kind of memory so...

Don't worry it's a Ubi game they usually manage to dumb their games down and they still run like shit.

Compared to their other games, the beta ran pretty good for me: 50-60 FPS all the time with the important settings maxed. (970 OC, i5-2500k OC)

Been thinking, if the game limits groups to 4 players and we're too many to play in the same group, we can have two separate groups, with at least one player using mic in each group, that means we can raid and know where the other group is heading or what's their intention.
Imagine going rogue and having so many players watching your back. Manhunt like a boos!
