that depends on whether they improved it or not and whether they added custom triggers
- basic version got cracked quite fast recently on AoE2/AoM expansions , the custom triggers version takes longer (Attila TW)

My theory on how to get a region free key from russian GMG
(i always did it that way and always got region free keys):
- Your need a creditcard, that is not registered in Russia or some other country that might have region locks.
- Deactivate the VPN before typing in the CC details.
- Have fun.

No, only the IP that you connect with matters, so no need changing anything in your profile, just make sure your IP is a strayan one, de-encrypt the game and then you shouldn't need to be 'in Australia' anymore
