Most of the people didn't pay anything for it or just a few peanuts.
There aren't many PC gamers still interested in Lara, like back in the day.
Take a look at Gamefaqs PC forum and you'll see that's pretty much dead. |
Previous game in the series has 4M copies sold on Steam according to SteamSpy.
Even if you remove bundles and $5 sales I believe at least 1M bought the game at a not so ridiculously low price. |
We are not talking about the previous game, are we?
Plus, that game received a lot of hype in 2013; this one not so much.

Well, it might look funny at first.
But seeing how Steam continues to make so many restrictions for the trading, and getting cheap gifts, they probably already have plans to restrict this feature too.

Well you said compared to "back in the day", not "3 years ago". To me the "back in the day" implies late 90s. So I thought that the "back in the day" games should contrast with both the 2013 and 2016 games, not just the 2016 one.

Enjoying this game quite a bit but it's definitely not as good as the first one. Both have pretty much the same exact gameplay but the first ones 'lost world' island setting was more interesting IMO. The first one had a lot more memorable fairly horrific moments, and they've toned it down for this game. I still remember the bullshit SJW complaints of the almost rape scene in the first game, and that's likely why they toned this game down. So stupid. A woman that attractive in the middle of siberia fighting mercs.. In real life you gonna get raped.
