So right now my home is:
PC / RPI2 / TV / PS2 ---- LTE Modem/Router

My friend living above has:
PC / PS2 - Wired modem/router

Idea is basicly to use his connection for gaming and my connection for downloads, 4G sucks for ping but speed is 150/50 soo.
His connection on the other hand is 24/1 but has a maginificent ping.

Right now he can access my network with the 5GHz WLAN stick that he has.

I just received a ZyXEL WAP5805 wireless access point, one box goes to his house and one to mine. Now I can access his connection for gaming purpose and he can use mine.

But the problem now is that my RPI2 / PS2 both use files from my PC if playing games or watching series/movies, so they have to have access to my PC at all times.

My initial thought was to just connect the access point in my house to the LTE Modem/Router and simply turn off the LTE connection if I need to play games. My PS2, RPI2 and PC would all work then. But my friend can't use my LTE connection if I do that myself.

So how should I do it so everyone can use everything at the same time? Only conclusion I can come up with is buying a second network adapter for my own PC.

Any ideas? Maybe I'm overthinking it in my head and the solution is simple...

Actually my PC is connected with a wire to the Modem and this new access point thingy would be wired aswell to my PC.
I would prefer to use wires with my main PC if possible.

PS2 and RPI are connected by wire aswell, TV is the only wireless thing in the house (apart from cell phones).
And yes the plan is to have these devices to stay on my own network, my PC is the only thing that could do with the lower latency.

But basically you came to the same conclusion as I: Need a second adapter.

And hey, I don't need the LAN for pr0n, just for TV series that are not on Netflix. And with the PS2 I load ISO games straight over the network from PC, thus I don't have to copy them over to USB stick or HDD.

Oh, and my RPI2 already does adult entertainment, by gfs request
