Ok, so I have this subscription for paid content on Youtube with videos that I want to save, but is it possible to download them in 1080p with audio? I didn't know this before, but since they introduced DASH encoding, video and audio is delivered separately and so on.
Is there any FF/Chrome plugin that downloads both audio and video, and merges them automatically? I have a downloader that downloads the video, but not the audio..

Downloaders that use the URL to paste etc won't work, since you can't access the videos unless you're autorized to view them, with your account that pays for the content.

You can give jdownloader login credentials for many plugins. Including youtube it seems, but I dont know it it uses them.

I added my Youtube account in JDownloader, it still says it can't be downloaded because it's Premium content.

Wouldn't work either, since it needed credentials to know that I've paid for the content to begin with.

Don't the addons posted work? I think they are downloading/copying from the browser cache or something, so if it plays it should be able to be saved.

i havent had a problem downloading videos frm youtube, even in 4k and with sound..
usually i use 5kplayer, it has a downloader on board..

theres also an open source alternative that im using sometimes..

both work great and you dont have to sign in or whatever.. never had to sign in to view or dl a video..

now i get it.. "paid" contend, lol..
sorry my bad.. never used any paid stuff on youtube..
i guess only thing is to use those capture from screen methods..
Fraps, afterburner etc... i did that once haha...before we had Flash downloaders...
