What's with all the negativity? The hump seems to always point out the worst in games until release, then everyone is playing and enjoying them...
As far as the ubi downgrades are concerned: I'm a software developer, not a game developer, but either way it doesn't matter, it just takes common sense to understand that they may develop features which look awesome and may actually work, but that due to hardware limitations and other required optimizations it's just not feasible to release a game with all that shit enabled on the current generation. During development games also tend to grow, more objects, more features, more calculations, more effects, whatever, the game bogs down and none essential stuff needs to be disabled to make the game playable. I don't see what the big deal is....
Obviously if you release a POS like AC: Unity you deserve to have your dick chopped off but crying over graphic downgrades which are just natural to occur during development is just uncalled for. I'm thankful for having seen what the engine is capable off, features we might see once hardware gets beefier... I'd rather see a prototype like that than nothing at all.

- PC games versions deliberate downgrade & lack of performance optimization coz of console market(Sony & M$) --> death by hanging.
Within just a few months after some public sentencing and publicly broadcasted executions we will see games having Avatar's level graphics running on 980ti at 60 fps.
