Nope, it's not been a shit year for movies. It's been another shit year for Hollywood movies and the same old American actors playing the same shitty roles for the same crap movies every year.

Mad Max is guaranteed to take at least one home. There's no fucking chance it's not going to win in one category. I guess Sicario is also going to take one.

Fassbender deserves it. Weird that Macbeth wasn't nominated, his performance was stellar there as well.

Sad part is that I really don't rate this as his better performances. Almost an insult to his other ones.
I gravitate more towards Redmayne and Fassbender on that category.

Which is retarded, I became a big fan of his after his performance in it. He played a deranged dude with mommy issues who has been living for thousands of years as a king absolutely perfect. I can't think of a better way to play the character.

Surprised Matt Daemon is on the list, surely Johhny Deep is a better choice with that gangsta movie.

i mean... i enjoyed mad max for just some dumb fun but how the shit is that best picture material?
but anyway i think this will finally be decaprio's year... revenant should be a pretty clean sweep i think.
and it deserves it. i really liked the movie.. a solid revenge film, that looked visually stunning and had fantastic performances and quite frankly the best animal mauling ever put on film.

yeah i dont really get it.. i think its a case of idiots mistaking an 'unlikeable character' for a 'bad actor'... mind you the razzies always have been a joke.. though im a bit worried that the razzies are starting to take itself seriously and believe its credible... and even worse, than PEOPLE think its a credible award..

Even if there were "better" movies than Fury Road (I didn't watch too many this year so I wouldn't know) I'm sure it was one of the most unique if not the most unique.

@chiv Why not? And it's not a given Mad Max rocks the "Best Picture" award, which will likely go to Revenant. MM will take in at least 2 probably, too many nominations not to have one (only Titanic had 14 nominations total, Mad Max has 10? I guess). Most likely for Make-Up and such.
