I got a refund back when they offered one but for some reason they left me with a lifetime pass lol. So I basically have all DLC for 20EUR. Thats a fair price.. The content is laughable for 40 per DLC.

Those voice packs are a good idea in theory (I own two, not to mention buying a legit license for Voice Attack), but they are downright exhausting to set up if you use anything but the default "everything" preset (which is just too much bloat).
Trust me on this - if you're playing Elite, and you've got voice macros set up, you want to be DAMNED SURE you've got certain stuff disabled, like boost, silent running, deploy hard-points, lest an errant word to somebody in passing or mis-recognized command cost you 20 mil + credits.
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

If only there was a global setting that allowed you to say a keyword like 'Computer' before it actually acted on commands. That would be much better IMO - you can add it manually, to EVERY command... that's a lot of commands tho!

I'd like Majel Barrett as AI voice pls. Surely there must be enough lines of her throught the Star Trek series.
"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

Seriously! This is one of the few games that looks utterly tailor made for VR, the way the UI interacts when you face certain directions and the feel of "openness" in the cockpit. |
Can confirm, I played it with the DK2 more than I played it without. Just traveling around was an awesome experience in VR. The UI as you said it just perfect, it works so well and enhances presence simply by being the way it is.
Looking to the side and having the UI react to that and pop up is great.
The only thing that annoyed me a bit was loading hiccups when you enter warp which will hopefully be gone when it gets retail VR support.

Way too much copyright fluff to wade through I imagine - someone could try and do it for free I suppose, but you won't be able to buy it.
Would be damn cool tho Shame she's dead, I wonder if she'd have been up for it... if Shatner and Blessed were... who knows!
