Couldn't care less. Only the big publishers can afford Denuvo, and almost all the worthwhile titles come out DRM-free on GGG anyway.

Don't we already have a number of games with no cracks or problems right now? It took even GTA 5 a long ass time to crack.

1. Romanic Numbers
2. Social Club version was cracked fast
3. Point proven you know nothing at all.

1. C and M are Roman numerals, also.
2. Social Club is hardly an example (see Steam and Uplay).
3. Pretty typical from you. Laughing

In other news, I agree: you can count on one hand the quality games (really worth playing and buying!) that use(d) Denuvo. Well, at least "I" can.

No shit none of the games released with it so far are even remotely interesting to me, played MGS V on PS4 and deeply regretted buying it.
Actually Witcher 3 is almost the only AAA game i bought which i really liked in the last few years and it was DRM free.

Well, as cheap gifts from russia are long gone, i really hope that in the future some new and good crackers will arise. But looking at the current trend, of more of the better crackers leaving, i doubt it. Sad

I still won't pay more than 40€ for a game, if no crack is available. So still a lose for those greedy publishers. Very Happy

The question is if someone from THE SCENE even tried/is trying to crack the recent Denuvo protected games or if they just gave up on it. Smile

If piracy dies you can just say hello to :

99.99$ / € as standard games price (39.99 for each DLCs)
and then add +10 to these prices per year.

And say goodbye to these -75% / -80% sales

Of course products quality won't change. IMHO of course.

oh... SO we are at this point of time and space... when we where like ... dunno WHEN "SPLINTER CELL CHAOS THEORY" CAME ... and all little shits screamed "where is da crack" back in 2005

grinhurt

Denuvo drm when a protection slows down your game by 4-6% you know its shit ... its Securom 5 all over again with its triggers when all where like " " but now it even encrypts memory grinhurt

the problem now is ... if your game will be bugged your screwed

introducing a DRM that make your game crash with memory leaking
from patch 1.21 of Just Cause 3

With the 1.021 patch ( 99 MB ), you can expect:
Improved Stability When Exiting To Desktop
Improved Memory Management
Troll Dad yeah right hahah

oh and dont forget about yet another patch that will be pushed in 3 weeks that fixes yet another memory issues

Besides, with day one gaming being almost like a curse nowadays (rushed developments, unrealistic deadlines, early access/beta passed for final), waiting is the recommended choice anyway. #teambear

I don't care. Nowadays most games are so overrated I will not bother to read reviews (that are often misleading) and opinions to be sure I spend my money right. I have luck to buy few games every year that I actually play and have fun with.
Without cracked versions I will only lose less time on those crap games that I pirate only to sadly see how truly overrated those games are (Fallout 4, MGS5, Assassin's Creed to name few).

Agree.

The majority of PC games, or should i say console games which run on PC are not even worth leeching anyway.

There is the odd exception but these days they are few and far between.

In terms of inflation of the years, you might be right.
But not that steep and not because of no piracy.
