Little tip:
Taken from the gaming wiki, you may wanna edit this for a decent FOV. I used (F7) during gameplay, but YMMV depending on screen setup etc.
Open <path-to-game>\LifeIsStrangeGame\Config\DefaultInput.ini with Notepad.
Add the following lines at the end of [Engine.PlayerInput]

thaaaanks that is actually the only thing which bothered me in episode 1. the camera reminds me of evil within, it was just too close to the back of max. downloading now. 1hour left and then the gaming begins

As always with Japanese games... plagiarism everywhere.
Not a single own idea, cliche after cliche, all ripped from David Lynch, Stephen King etc.
These guys don't understand the difference between homage, quoting and plagiarism. And they never will.

It's always the publisher who makes the decision. Look at DX:HR, Hitman: Absolution and other titles to understand what I mean. Super-bosses, super-heroines (looking like 15 yo), guardian angels, karma ninjas and all that anime shit.

no it was straight up dontnods game, they shopped it around until they found a publisher (squeer) that didn't want to change anything and would let them make the game the way they wanted to.

O really? I don't think so.
First, they ripped the (almost) entire Twin Peaks and converted the plot into another stupid anime. Second, they gathered every cliche phrase from jRPGs.
What's the flavor - can I borrow?

well its all good and well to say you 'dont think so' that dontnod were the ones responsible for the game... i mean.. what proof do you have at squeernix tampering with it? or are you just guessing.
as for your second part.. really dont care what they drew inspiration from.. time and again we've seen that just ripping shit off is not a recipe for success if you cant craft it into something great on your own... whatever source material they drew from, i found the game they ended up making to be fantastic.
