More RAM never hurts. But if you solely game with that machine, there is no real benefit most of the time.

Only if you do virtualization and heavy video/photo-editing it is needed.

Yes but no reason to buy only 8GB aswell, just because of shit ports and RAM is dirt cheap these days.

Absolutely, even my old 7950 3gb boost had a good framerate on the max settings for those games even with 4 times smaa or something like that i believe Laughing

Enjoy it! I did it a couple of weeks ago after reading in an overclock forum about it in which they tested those games like it should be done!

I dunno. I notice far better IQ over the 8Gb mark, but that could be down to the newer IME drivers?

Not gonna send the 'other' 8Gb back though, as Photoshop may need it....one day.

I started to run out of 8GB a while back due to a lot of multitasking and gaming at the same time so had to upgrade to 16GB myself...

Just ordered another 8GB Kit too (16GB now). Price was only ~32€.
Don't really need 16GB either. But at that price i couldn't resist. grinhurt
