Endgame, powerarmor, laser minigun.
I walk around the east of the map and there is a guy shooting ghouls feom his house. I stomp them and the dude says "You have eyes of a newbie" and stuff like that.... Bethesda
like in skyrim when you save the entire world against alduin and you get arrested for an apple.
it just generally isn't as fun to explore as prior games for whatever reason.
Because you won't ever find anything you need, imo.
That's part of it. The 'survival' mode is a joke and I find stimpacks, radaways, etc out the ass even more so then the prior games. This is the biggest reason I gave up on the game. It's just too fucking easy. There is no difficulty. Drugs/stims and power cores are so plentiful that you can be raging out on drugs and walking around in the power armor the entire game.
Without the huge explorations and mod support, all Fallout and TES games from Bethesda would just be some indie game crap sadly.
Besides those two aspects there is so much wrong in their games. And they seem to be too retarded to fix anything for their next game.
Enthoo Evolv ATX TG // Asus Prime x370 // Ryzen 1700 // Gainward GTX 1080 // 16GB DDR4-3200
I just found game bland and story is just meh, doesn't pull me in, combat is meh, everything is just meh..I'll start a game, play for an hour and thats about max I can endure before I f5 and alt-f4
Pretty interesting how quiet Bethesda is about this game. No proper patches, updates or news about season pass content and the CK.
My professor layton game on 3DS had more support after release. A new puzzle every day. Oh, and no bugs.
AAA games on PC/Consoles (except nintendo) have gone to complete shit. I'm at the point where i'm not going to bother with AAA releases anymore and only stick with indie titles on the PC and only buy nintendo for AAA.
And while not the same style of RPG i've had way more fun with xenoblade 2 then this game.

You guys got a really short memory - Bethesda always does this. They first release small patches to fix some of the easy-to-fix stuff that won't impact other elements and then they work on a massive patch that will get properly tested before release. With Skyrim it took 3 months for that big patch to get released.
Massive patch that will get properly tested .. well if it was only on Bethesda to fix all the bugs, it would end terribly. They fuck their games with bugs since Daggerfall.
So thank again for MOD community for fixing most of these bugs!

Completely agreed!
The "survival" difficulty does make it more hard in the beginning, but the insane amount of "legendary" weapons and armor and stuff you find compensates the difficulty more than enough with the absurd result that in the end "suvival" becomes to most easy playmode of all.
The 1.3 patch could possibly have some further Nvidia features such as HBAO+
(Which actually exists in Fallout 4 already but can't be enabled currently.)
Change #1642254 has the update named Patch 1.3 Nvidia Features though a bit later it was changed to just 1.3 Beta Update, probably not too far off on a open beta test though perhaps they'll skip that and go for a full release this time.
(The beta branch has been removed for now.)
Finally I got into the Institute. That horrible, horrible writing was just too much for me. There is potential because I spend 100 hours just exploring but the script is too much shit for me.
