Every post has an opportunity to get worked up about and channel one's anger.

Once you have a certain reputation it is hard to change that around or change people's perception of your intentions with a post.
You could try a friendlier style to overcome the perception if you care about it. Otherwise you can adopt the 'haters gonna hate' mantra.
And... why even bother when the man was helped. Even with the insufficient information he provided.
The 'factual spiel' you're doing this time around is noticeable, it's better than the previous persona but still...
