What a huge waste. A big pile of shit that everyone participating in it should be ashamed. No character development, retarded dialogues, bad acting (yeah we get it Lanthimos, they suppose to be emotionless but acting like morons is not the same). Farrell, Colman and Weisz have made the worst decision of their lives. Nothing will be the same for them from now on. Personally they're now blacklisted for me. What a pos was this? I can't even believe what I watched.

Haha, I can definitely understand why you felt this way Very Happy
For some arcane reason I did like it, but I don't even know why exactly. The metaphors, the sense of being at a complete loss, or maybe I'm just becoming insane, relating to complete nonsense. The Lindelof effect..on steroids xD

-------------------------------
The Hateful - Eight/10

I was prepared to be disappointed but ended up enjoying almost everything about it. The movie managed to be the complete opposite of what I was expecting, and not in a bad way (Quentin you'll be damned) with ye ol' good western theme being just an opportunity to present something akin to a theatrical play - part comedy, part drama, part farce, part Samuel L. Jackson's tenso(tm) stare, par Kurt Russel's moustache. Ms Leigh and the rest of the cast were great too, although they felt a tad underused considering the structure of the movie and the fact that all the budget was spent on wages. Not the best Tarantino movie, but I can see it becoming the most polarizing one, just to pour kerosene on the fire Razz

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

Not always a fan of quentin so I went in with no expectations but I loved it. The characters, acting, writing, the whole premise, everything just worked for me. Also Walton Goggins (the justified guy) is a legend I hope to see him in more stuff. Think it's my favorite movie this year.

Creed - 6/10

On one hand there's the nostalgia factor going strong, with the homages and Sly delivering a solid performance, on the other one there's the fact that everything the movie does is derivative, unimaginative, clichèish. No surprises were had, the predictable deja-vu ate everything.

Basically a ghetto remake for the nextgen, flashier and yo-yoer generation, though watchable technically-wise for what it's worth. Best secondary character (hands down): the creepy lurking turtle xD
I hope they can stop now, sparing us sequels starring futuristic clones of Rocky and Apollo in CGI or female remakes with Ivan Ronda just because they gotta recycle 'em all.

I watched it yesterday and my rating is 3/10 because of all these problems. Boring, predictable and the lead actor is simply bad in acting.

I also watched this:
One Wild Moment/Un moment d'égarement

Enjoyable remake of the 1977 movie.
7/10
Oh and she's the leading actress in this one:

Star Wars 8/10

Finally a star wars movie with some dynamic fights, instead of two guys standing still and touching their swords from time to time. Watched previous ones this week and they were awfully slow and static. A welcomed change.

Too bad there were so few of those fights, The Raid guys didn't have a lot to work on Sad

Yoda was pretty dynamic in episode 2

Lobster ?¤!/10. I liked it for a while (halfway or so), it's like being able to watch a dream in a sober state, being able to realise and study the absurdity in detail. Interesting but not very good.

The Martian 6/10. Macgyver in space. quite boring and i didnt like the actors (felt very little for them i have to say), its just problem solving all the way through, not sure its my idea of a fun/interesting movie, it has to have more than that.

Tomorrowland - 7.5/10

Earnest as few blockbuster movies are these days - had I not known it was a Brad Bird picture I'd be thinking this was the Wachowskis' follow up to Speed Racer - this is one of 2015's most entertaining movies despite its disappointing third act.

Competent movie, had that classic feel Surprised but amount of bullshit coincidences in last act was too much.
Plus the Empire/First Order really felt evil this time.

007 Spectre of Solace - 5/10

And here I was hoping they would learn from their previous mistakes, mr Bond pls Sad
Barely any tension, average writing, a car chase as exciting as Monica Bellucci's acting, they managed to waste even based Waltz with yet another disappointing villain provided with little credibility (and dat twist xD).

Not even the Bond girl they got right (once again mostly because of the lazy writing), without mentioning the music which I found especially unimpressive. I think the wise solution at this point would be to fire everyone and start again from scratch with completely new people, and a writer that didn't graduate from the baboon academy.

@Chiv: fixed the Engrish part haha!
