Cant get this shit to work, have tryied all windows compatibility modes, several launch options i get only a black screen and then this program stopped working wtf to do ??
-console -novid -32bit -windowed -noborder
any ideas ?

disable steam overlay
install the redistrabutables in the game folder ( directx, , ...)
does tf2 or csgo work for u oe Any other game using source engine ? (portal)
if so verify integrity, if not, update or downgrade vidcard drivers

only thing that worked was XP mode... weird i thought all source games would run native by now ? and msi afterburner doesnt seem to work either..
Yeah i play left 4 dead without any issues so thats why i asked..

try -windowed -noborder instead of compatible mode. maybe afterburner will work then?
