I always ask for their number because I prefer to be in control, and if I realise the morning after they're not my type then I don't bother phoning them. It's easy that way. But with her being in my class it makes the whole thing that much more difficult.
Maybe i'll just keep putting it off like Kuja said. But honest;y if i'd given a girl my number and she kept messing me around i'd have preferred her to tell me straight.
Maybe just not ringing her would be the best answer, I mean it's not as if someone can mix up that type of message.

well there is never a nice way for something like this, you can only decide how subtle you re gonna pull it off so she doesnt feel too bad, but the end result will always be the same.
not ringing her would be a good idea and if she asks you directly then you re just too busy.
not much you can do about it, she ll get the message.

heh i was in that kind of situation with my girl.
when we two met each other she was still together with a guy, so we were just friends.
i wanted to keep it that way since i didnt wanna be the asshole kind of guy who steals girlfriends. well eventually we started feeling something for each other and so she broke up with him and got together with me.
but she has been only together with him for like 2 months, nothing too serious and he turned out to be a bastard making up lies and shit, so it was all for the best in the end 
so yea go for that girl, sure on one side it might be stealing away a girl, but what if you like her alot more than her current bf and she maybe has feelings for you as well since she approached you with this.

an annoying bastard was sending me the invite to hi5 like 2 times a day for a week.
i told him to stop doing that crap and he stopped.
never got an hi5 invitation again although i have lots of ppl in my lists who are members of it. |

If this is the case then it's best to leave it be me thinks. This girl has some kind of mystical power over me and it's unnerving.

tnx for the heads up DoubleV but handling girls, in general, isn't a problem for me. And yeah, we've done the whole going out together part. At one point she went to kiss me after I gave her a lift home, but I failed to acknowledge it at the time.
You see... this girl is different to the others. With the others, I just want to get in their pants and thats easy for me to handle. But this chick, I'm not even interested in sleeping with her (well... not predominantly), I just want to be with her.
This is why I choose not to see her. Sure I could get in her pants if I made the effort but that's not what I want. Her and her boyfriend get on really well as they've only been together for a year (stll in the honeymoon period).
Regardless, she knows that she can call me if things turn sour.
thats the last last on the subject from me as this isn't an appropriate forum for this crap. but nice to write it out of my system anyways.

Well if that is the case, i would really try to get with her. The shorter she is with her boyfriend the better. I mean waiting a year isn't gonna make things more morally right.
Unless her boyfriend is a friend of yours that shouldn't stop you.
Anything is allowed when it comes to love right. If you just wanted to fuck her it would be really wrong but if you really love her it doesn't matter if she got a bf or not.

Well, I gave her a call last night and ending up talking to her for like 3 hours. Now I feel really stupid for not doing anything earlier. She said we should of hung out together when she was here. I didn't know if she meant "as friends" or not, but when I started asking questions dealing with that line of thinking without actually saying "as friends" it seemed as if she meant something more. Now I'm like DAMN IT! As we talked she said how I was funny and looked good and we flirted a bit more.
But I'm wondering if she's just lonely because she said that now she's in a new city and she hardly knows anyone and is lonely. She hasn't tried any modeling or acting yet, right now she's looking for an internship job or something. I told her that when I'm done with school in May/June that I would fly out there to look for a job and maybe try some acting and she seemed pretty enthusiastic about it and she was like "yeah that would be really cool, you should definately come out here" or something like that.
We were never really close friends when she was here, but when I talked to her on the phone it seemed as if we were. I can never tell with girls whether they like me or not and usually wait for them to make a first move. Has anyone had any experience like this? Do you think she's just lonely and wants attention? The thing is I know she has lots of friends back here; I don't know what to think. June is a long ways away and I'm sure she'll make new friends. She said for me to call her soon and also gave me her house and email address. I feel like flying out there right now to see her. I thought about her all day, even during class. So, do you think she's really in to me?

Maybe she just wants to be friends. It's difficult to tell without being able to see her body language. I'd be cautious about getting my hopes up.
