Not a lot of room, but ok for the price.
I picked one up to make my sons OS drive, he doesnt need max SSD chart speed or anything, but its a lot better than the 5400 200g he has now.
Figured for $40 its worth it as a OS drive on the cheap.

Pulled the trigger on a 250GB EVO from amazon, 70€ (shipping adds another 5 but that doesn't count )
Amazon says it will be here on 28-29 but come on, who are they trying to fool here?
Now to ghetto mod that 2.5" -> 3.5" adaptor in order to hold two in there instead of one

Will they stay at these prices, or is this a temporary thing?
I see they've dropped constantly over the past months

A Samsung EVO still is cheaper with the same performance.
Also those prices are standard nowadays.

The Sandisk drives have never had any firmware bugs/issues, ever. Just because the Samsung drives are 'fixed' doesn't mean I trust them. Further, both have such high performance fresh/used that any advantage is mostly meaningless because they are both essentially maxing the interface out.

Yeah, we either need SATA revision 3.2 (16 Gbit/s, 1969 MB/s) or a Thunderbolt 3 interface to become standardized as well as an updated PCI Express (twice the bandwidth AND/OR speed/alternatively multiplying the number of PCIe-channels for SATA). Unless we buy expensive PCI Express x4 SSD-drives stuck in there like a card we won't break the SATA3 (6Gbit/s) limit.

I already have a proper adapter, and it turns out it supports two in there. But they're sticking too close for my liking so I'll have to do some slight ghetto adjustments, that's all
