Well first no matter what res the game may be on, when loading the game for the first time it will load in window mode all the time.

Press Alt+Enter at the same time, it will take the game to full screen mode. Now in options after you select the res you want 1280x1024 or 1600x1200 go down and make sure exit is highlighted, then press the action button to exit. The screen will begin to start flickering. Once it flickers thats how you know the res changed.

I changed it to 800x600 and the game looks like crap, taking it to 1280x1028 game looks damn good Smile Thats how I know it worked fine.

BTW: Heres proof that I have it running at 1280x1028 for those who think im lying or some shit.


i did but it goes no more than 1024*,when i choose 1280* it changes back to 800*
lol u had problems with pop rez now we got this one hehe Razz stupid rez's

LOL! Thats true about POP. I Had problems with setting the Res in that game. But no problems changing it in this game. Really strange. Just out of curiosity what graphics card do you have?

Leadtek 6800,monitor iiyama 12ms max rez 1280*1024 75hz
well 1024* is better than window mode anyway Rolling Eyes

Are you using a refresh rate override application like Reforce etc...?
If so, "deactivate" it and restore all your screen refresh rates to their default value.

I have same error ->"failed creating the direct3d device".
But i'm thinking it's because my graphic card is too old.

downlaod the program
start the program
click on "select" and select "oni3.exe"
click on "emulate pixel shader caps"
and click run...
now enjoy the game Smile

ok i think that is a protection because i went in a place where is a teleport and a savepoint (mirror) and 2 dors (locked) and the teleport doesn't work, i have read a walkthrough and at that point u must use the teleport.

so i wait for a patch, or a fix

Damn! The thing with the DX8 incompatability really sux!

Anyone think that a fanmade patch can be done to fix this?? Because obviously DX8 cards can easily run this game...

I can't believe a PS2 port needs a pixel shader 2.0 card to run. It just baffles me.

If you play Onimusha 3 with mouse and keyboard in full screen mode I see the windows mouse pointer in the game screen. Does anybody know how to get rid off the mouse pointer in Onimusha 3.
