So here's the situation.
Currently I have the router set up in my room connected to the PC. I'd like to be able to watch cable TV in the living room without having to connect it to the router via cable because reasons.
So I've been told a powerline adapter is a viable possibilty. Just plug into a wall socket and connect to the router with its counterpart plugged into a wall socket and the TV.
Now, in my room I have a wall socket available. The living room has one free about 2.5m away and for reasons I'd rather not have to plug it in there.
So my question is, can I plug the second adapter into an extension cord and have the same result?
