Yeah this. It looks fugly. I would like to give System Shock a go but how can you play a game that looks that bad. Same with Deus Ex. The graphics are terrible and make the games shit.

Graphics make up, like, at least 60% of the game. There is just no immersion in the game if it looks that bad. Might as well play pong.

At first I was like  , but then I remembered the underwhelming progress on Ultima Ascendant and the age we live in

Imma just tread lightly and keep my emotions locked down for now.   This could either be the best news ever or yet another disappointment, and I think we've got enough of those already.
If they try to use that glorious name to make a popamole pew of viscerality I'll cybernetically psi-alight their office couches

There's nothing to report for now, I guess more details (Kickstarter? Publisher? No immediate plans at all actually?) will come when the timer ends.
BTW said timer, now that the cat is out of the bag, has the text "Pathetic creature of meat and bone... You think you can hack me?" which should be familiar to fans of the games.

Seriously though, I wish I could be even cautiously optimistic about this, but seeing THIAF, the new "Doom", "Rainbow Six" and so on, I just can't. Hopefully I will be wrong and this won't turn out to be the worst console trash imaginable.

Just hope its not generic corridor shooter, anything that's just straight line levels, glowing items, arrow quests, press x for something awesome to happen. I'd say better in the hands of small studio with limited budget over AAA to deliver.

Deus Ex's first map is atrocious. I have beaten it and always dropped the game at that point. Wtf. I just can't get into it and SS2 is one of my favourite games which I've finished 2 times.
