Haha. I wouldn't mind it either. Still listen to it, despite never actually playing ffvii. By the time I tried it I could not accept the atrocious visual design. I will force myself at some point.
Still, I'd prefer a technically better sounding score
Even Nobua Uematsu doesn't want to soil his name with this abomination. Just wait for the announced removal of items, spells, leveling, difficulty like most other games these days for a more streamlined experience.

"Pre-order now for a limited summon materia, Knights of the Round!"
Nobody asked to change the gameplay so much.
The graphics don't look that bad.
But i really doubt they will get that much more sales, for streamlining the combat for the fucking derps.
The gameplay itself also seems to run at a rather low framerate. Noticeable at 1:10.

WTF is that shit... and why are those fucking derps cheering.
God fucking dammit... at least have the decency to just rename it instead of calling it VII.
Well, with all the new JRPGs coming to steam I can only hope that somehow, someway both Xenoblade games get here one day too. Because FF, to me, is simply dead.

Well I believe they are Americans, they love cheering (if they can't make a little song and dance out of it first). It's that herd mentality and it only takes just the one to set them all off.
I'm just glad they didn't all start chanting U.S.A.U.S.A..... at some point during the cheers..but then the video did cut off rather early.
May as well just play god of war or one of the other 100's if action button mashers that keep coming out. On a positive note just started playing Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky pretty decent so far.
How does it look promising? Because they kept something from the original game?
But i will wait with my final judgement till real and longer gameplay is out.

Looking forward to play it.
I´ve tried the original one several times, but reached a point when battles become annoying instead of fun and the story was'nt enough to keep me going.
This seem like a better approach for someone like myself!
kids only like real time shit nowadays. Something arcade. It's a pity though because I for one really like turn based in rpgs. (jrpg's in particular) although there are exceptions, resonance of fate, grandia among others.I just like being able ot play at my own pace, i find it just as intense and exhilarating, but without the need to always be aware of whats happening on screen. To stop and think for a bit so I can plan moves ahead of time.
