Good for Unity, an average of 20fps.

I think scaramonga was being sarcastic / hasn't really tried it.
TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."
"a phenomenon."
"A tangled tale of sex, violence, power, junk food..."
"Like Nothing On Earth"

I tried it, loaded my save from the first episode (just after visiting the shrink) and I was getting 55-60 fps in the city area, where I previously had drops to mid twienties (on the other hand - I think it looked better before, more characters on the street, etc.). Don't know about the rest of the game, waiting for all episodes to come out to play it properly.

I made a quick run in the city in Part 1. I can't make a proper comparison since I upgraded both my CPU and my GPU since then, but it runs pretty good in general. Max settings, except AA was off (I was not sure what AA it's using and it looks blurry enough without it) at 1080p and the lowest I was getting was 65 at a couple of the worst places. Mostly it's 80-100 and could go over 130. It scales with settings better as well - on medium I was getting 150 easily enough. But... this is on a 980 Ti and a 4790K
Before that I was getting maybe 30-40 at the best of times on a R9 290. At the very least you could say that it uses hardware better now, but still not that great. GPU util maxed out at 80% and more often than not was around 60% (but the framerate was over 75 as well)
The overall look seemed blurrier than I remember it, but I don't have any screens to compare, so I could be just remembering it wrong - it didn't lack for bloom and excessive DoF before either.

Nice!
It's a bit spoilery but all the trailers are these days *shakes fist*
I played the first episode a long time ago, enjoyed it (despite some shortcomings/inconsistent design decisions), and decided to wait till everything's ready, but now with the sexy Unity 5 update I think I won't be able to resist.

The updated Unity mambo number 5 definitely did its job, the game went from choppy ~35-40fps to steady-ish vsync'd 60 on High settings/1080p with the 970.
There's still a lot of room for improvement (maxing out the shadow distance for example is extremely demanding), but the game is finally playable at non-cinematic framerate.

Dreamfall.Chapters.Book.Four.Revelations-RELOADED
This version has the updated engine? Or that only comes with book 5?

I hope it comes out in Summer. sigh..
"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."
