From the brief 30 minutes or so I've spent playing, this game seems extremely sweet. My only complaint is that the camera handling is a bit awkward. In first-person camera mode (that I tend to use a lot to check out the surroundings) mouse sensitivity seems to drop drastically and I have to move my mouse over three pads' worth of distance just to turn 180°.

Either way, it's been a long, hard wait. I'll most likely buy the game when it gets released here, to support the developers and to get away from having to yank out the cables every so often. Alas, it was apparently not deemed suitable to release the game here until December 9th, and I certainly wasn't about to wait that long before trying it out.

BlueIce: You need to wait till the sword glows then hit the slash button.
Then once you jump of him back to the ground you need to find the other way upto the plank walk along do another speedkill to get his other eye. Then you need to stay on the ground and fight him but he is blind so its easy. Stay as close to him as you possibly can and slash his legs to pieces.

if
slash button=normal attack with dagger
then i really dunno, what am i doing wrong. i get on one of the higher plattform, wait for the "pulsing" screen, press speed-attack-button, prince jumps, dagger glows, i press normal-attack-button but all i do is attacking is arm. after that it seems that i have no control of my character und almost immediatly get thrown to the ground Sad

i know this is frustrating.. but.. the thing in speed-killing is patience.. like you jump on his shoulder.. do the speed attack.. he picks you up.. and you have to wait.. because it will be another speed attack to get out of the hand .. once you are out.. you go for the eye.. its easy.. and you only have to press one key at 3 specific times.. it isn't hard at all..

eliz.. that film is unlocked in PoP3 at the end of the game via Extras >> video and it's got a "The Movies" feel Wink

i m a bit desapointed about graphics. Look nice but not fine ..Well i cant up than 1280*768 with this game. my real max res is 1440*900 . Sad

With all that bloom the game actually looks better in 800x600 + AA than in 1280x960.

i got it now, war3's post was pretty useful. The whole attack on the giant is one big speed-attack. so don't push any button, wait for your dagger to flash. patience is really the key.

yes ok but i never know when to slash on the second time ... its a really strange the screen is not grey Sad ... and sometimes says not the exact time Sad .. so i really dunno how to pass this ..

anyone can send me the savegame ?? Razz

Fortunatelly I was able to run game smoothly without unpluging drives... hell know why but it works, I only use DT4 with all options OFF. GAME ROXXXX

Yep...Once you have pressed speedkill you have no control of him till he jumps back to the ground. Just press slash button when sword glows and that will win it...But when you fight him on the ground you dont get glowing you just need to slash the fuck out of him. Very Happy

I agree with the amount of saving points but camer does act annoying,even when it's scripted,you do a wall run and wanna go over the wall so you hold down forward key and suddently camera turns 180° to give you a better view of what's behind the wall,so I fall down the way I came from...
annoying if you gotta play 10mins again(didn't have any rewinds left)

Im getting a strang square following me in some places. Im using the latest 81.95 drivers with xp sp2. Anyone else getting this?

Looks like an AA bug, if i turn anti aliasing off the square disappears. Time to crank up the resolution then.

I have exactly the same problem. I have set all the graphical settings to max with 1280x960 and 2xAA.
I just don’t want to turn the AA off Sad but that square is quite annoying Mad
