Wasn't Rico black haired? I know it gets a bit paler and grayer over the years but I never heard of a person changing from black to brown as he got older. Very Happy
(I guess to speed up time a bit they re-used parts of the Mad Max character model. Razz )

EDIT: Although come to think of it I was almost pale blond when I was a kid and now I have this unidentifiable "rat" like hair color so I guess it can get a bit changed over the years but I don't think that applies to adults. Very Happy
(Unless Rico was just very mature for his age back in the first game...he did act a bit like a child at at times...)


EDIT: Game unlocks in a few hours right? Almost time for me to go to sleep for tonight here and with how quickly some of the newer Denuvo games got circumvented I wonder if there will be some progress already by the time I wake up.
(I guess it all depends on if it's default or modified with triggers and crap.)

They changed him from a some type of South American in the previous games, to now originating in a fake Mediterranean country. So I guess they wanted to give him a more European appearance.

I hope the model can be changed later through mods, this new char. is so fucking antipathic I just couldn't relate to him. Sad

Yep they definitely are, I also hope they make use of the props and stuff to let us change the character or "enhance" him like in JC2.

Rico's new accent has something familiar yet weird to it, almost like an Italian trying to speak English properly but incapable of hiding the badabepupi, if you know what I mean. Razz The last virtual character that achieved this was Ezio.

Performance, unfortunately, is an inconsistent issue. On one of the two PCs I played on (a Core i7-980X with a GeForce GTX 970 and 8GB RAM) I saw generally great frame rates interrupted by some major slowdowns and stuttering… but the other PC (Core i7-4790K, GeForce GTX 980, and 16GB RAM) was almost flawless. On both I saw occasional crashes, and some frame rate problems arose when huge explosions went off. I also wouldn’t recommend playing without an SSD, because load times can be exceptionally long when using a hard drive.

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
