Nah, I'd rather standing up the stairs at Whiterun near Dragonsreach with ugrids 7 and tens of mods installed. Better FPS there.

Fallout 4 Settlement Raiding Mod
http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/2995/?

First attempt of a mod and so far only works for Sanctuary via batch files. But together with a better combat AI mod this looks great already.

Just started this. Load times are terrible. I don't know if I'll be able to finish it though. I loved FO3 (but the earlier games more.) But somehow this feels like the jump from Mass Effect 1 to 2 did. It just feels.... streamlined? Not sure. We'll see I guess. I'm only a little ways in and just made it through concord and the museum.

Still, the damn load times... ugh

God I wish they'd release a proper patch to fix the terrible stuttering. How this got through QC I'll never know. Spoiling the game now :-/

Any dot crosshair mod out?
Couldn't find anything on the nexus and it would be handy outside combat since I pick up a ton of stuff and sometimes it's a bit annoying to pick up an item that is standing along with 3/4 I don't want Sad

I'm sure it's an easy mod but it wouldn't work right. The game uses a cone of fire type system which is why you can't have a single dot to represent where your shots will go.

No no, I only want it outside combat. Always use iron sights while in combat Very Happy

I think you can mark components you want in the workshop though, and the game will identify junk that has those components.

Yes, you can mark components. You will see a magnifying glass icon next to an item if you are looking for it before picking up.

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

Yeah, but it's not indicative of the overall game's size, the inside locations are quite large.

How big is the map in this game?

I read somewhere that you could walk across the map in 10 minutes, is that true?

Only in theory. It took me that long to get through 10% of the map and I didn't stop for anything.

And that's playing without VATS at all. Add that and all the critical features and well...

I have that in 10mm version... now that is OP shoots way too fast for that bonus.

@Toni
Give it to your settlers, raids are daft so not a game breaker then. Otherwise it would just sit in a box.

Just heard Lynda Carter original soundtracks first time in Diamond Radio. Much better than the rest (mostly bc they are new), they should do/add more of same in the future.

Wait till you get your hands on an explosive minigun mate. That should be the mother of all weapons if you got Demo, BigGuns and AutomaticGuns skilled all the way through.

Finished exploring the seabed, took almost an hour but there wasn't anything at all to loot besides some junk items and there's a pretty high level of detail with lots of sunken ships from fishing boats and rowboats to huge freighter ships and even airplanes and there's also a vast pipeline network much of which extends beyond the normal playable area so a underwater themed DLC seems pretty likely to at least have been planned.
(Although there's several passages out of the Commonwealth too which at the moment leads nowhere but might have been set up for DLC transitions between different regions.)
