Great news for everyone interested in emulating X360 as the most promising emulator for Microsoft’s consoles, Xenia, now boots and runs Halo: Reach up till its main menu (game seems to run into an error when trying to start a gamemode). Obviously, this does not mean that Halo: Reach will be playable via Xenia in the next couple of months. Still, this is big news and a huge step in emulating X360. I really hope the Xenia comes to fruition someday. The 360 really did have the best back catalogue of games and there's tons of games I would still play from the box (even though I still have my 360)
Same. Xbox mainly has action game exclusives. And most or all of the good exclusives i already played back then when i had this box.
A PS3 emulator would be much more awesome indeed. All those motherfucking RPGs.

I'd play the Ace Combat, Too Human, Zoids game, Operation Darkness, Red Dead Redemption, Ninja Gaiden, Forza, Fist of the northstar, Catherine, gears,ZOE,Chromehounds.. and thats just from the top of my head. I'm sure I'll find others worth a play/replay. PS3 I'd really like to play Resonance of fate, uncharted.I don't see ps3 emulation coming any time soon though and it looks like there's more progress with 360 emulation so I'm more excited about the possibility of the 360 games.
I'll also add to that list, halo wars, bayonetta, el shaddai, stormrise,armoured core, virtua fighter, soulcaliber... shit hurry up with the emu already
the problem is sony saw they can do that with ps1 titles (do that -> reselling them on the psn, even though psx games worked natively via disc on every ps3, people were just too lazy to search their old discs) and people buy that, so they do that with ps2 titles too
That's the greed kicking in. The sad part is that the price that they claim for this shitty software based upscaling is 15$ for games which are more than a decade old.
yep, and please dont buy them on eu psn. eu versions of games which hadnt a hz-switch to change between 50 and 60hz are fucked up. example is vice city -> they forced the eu version to run with 60hz instead of its natural 50 which results in major frame skipping and even unsmoother experience that it was on ps2

Seems like it's a good speedup on graphic intense games, really need to test this in last story this could actually make it playable since it was really the only game i had problems with speed wise.
Damen,I wish they will officially add motion+ support now,I want to move to that version,I am having FPS drops on motion+ unoffical build with Skyward sowrd.
No way I am buying Motion+ controller,I am doing just fine with my DS4 and sapicel config I downloaded that enable decent "classic" controls.

No shit i mean those motion+ builds are like 3 or 4 years old now there are tons of improvements made since then, i never really tried skyward sword since i don't own a motion+ (actually not even a wii or a working wiimote anymore) and those old motion+ builds are shit.
I wonder why they gave up on trying to emulate it probably just not worth it since only a handful of games require it and of those only skyward sword is actually good.
