I don't think so. StarForce had side effects and created some discomfort for the users, but this ... nothing so far. Damnit! We are all fuck*d up! Game over ... game over man.

Then is demand Steam CEG alone for all the Games in the future ^^
But tbh there will be a way to crack denuvo at some point, it just takes time like it did with RLD and SF. IIRC it took them 1,5-2 years to release the reversing/cracking tools for SF.

hasnt rld already "claimed" that they are able to remove denuvo completely? tales of zisteria internal release or whatever it was?
but on the other hand: its time for the devs/publishers to realize that protections are useless. just look at the shitty fallout4, almost no protection (steam doenst count) and sold like hell, and that beside the fact that it was cracked a few secs after release

Zisteria with Denuvo? Really? I think it was Securom 8.
Yes, Witcher 3 was completly DRM free and sold well. But think about it - If was with DRM, the sells would be even better. If they are greedy - yes, Denuvo is the choice.
p.p. For me everytime the good protection (like Denuvo) is sign of something fishy. |

It's SecuROM which != Denuvo. Yeah, some SecuROM ex. guys, but different tech.
LOTF is also meh. :}
