KF2 Build 1013

This is a required update for clients and servers. The changelog is as follows:


General
Quote:
Adjusted music to pre-summer patch balance levels
Adjusted Trader audio muffling other sound effects
Adjusted Mr. Foster voice to be slightly louder
Updated Trader stat information on some weapons
Hans XP values updated. Significantly more XP for all difficulties
If a server has gone unranked it will be properly updated in the server browser


Bug Fixes

Fixed some issues with Strasser’s voice overs
Fixed an issue with 3d translations with the HUD manager for Hans’ intro scene at certain resolutions
Fixed an issue with 3rd person flame effects persisting after the pawn was destroyed
Fixed an issue where you could occasionally open the gear menu during the game
Fixed an issue where Hans had trouble pathing to players in Evacuation Point
Fixed an issue where the pop up for kick voting would persist after selecting a choice
Fixed an issue where Nuke wasn’t doing damage on dedicated servers
Fixed an issue where you could have multiple dualies and the 9MM at the same time
Fixed an issue where Hans would run out of ammo (was previously part of an opt in patch)
Fixed an issue where players that never readied up in a game in progress could earn achievements
Fixed an issue where the Husk’s flame didn’t collide with other zeds
Fixed an issue where the Vote Kicking UI would make other buttons unable to be clicked
Fix for client-side filter for full servers
Kick voting will now end if “No” votes have won instead of waiting for all votes

Just some tip: I find that overlay pretty distracting, as it takes over nearly a quarter of the picture. Smile

Other than that, the HUD doesn't seem to scale that well with high resolutions. (tiny font)

I don't play with that overlay on. It was just a performance test/benchmark where the whole point is that measured values can be readable. Smile

What? I prefered higher resolution above useless AA (on that high resolutions), realtime reflections are huge FPS hit with barely visible effect, I don't like motion blur and bloom as an effects so that's why they were off aswell.

Thats some pushed card sli usage, good to see they actually behave and provide whats needed in that game. I do the same sometimes dsr it can help sometimes with games that under use gpu/drops etc if keeping them busy.

Yes indeed. Even it's still an early access game dual GPU utiliziation seems to be pretty good.

If you didn't like the first one you're def not going to enjoy this one anymore. Playing with pubbies is really boring and generally don't play it until my friends are on, then it's an absolute blast.

I sometimes jump into a pub match using Royalgamer's launcher. It's a hell of a lot of fun to play, made even more enjoyable since it's not a competitive PvP title, meaning the community - even the pirate one - is more enjoyable. Not so much full of elitist hooting dickholes or pointless hackers.

I've noticed that in the months I've been playing this. The community is a lot of fun. A lot of them ended up being part of a group I always play with.

I dont have anything against it as long as they keep making real content into the game. Smile That's way much safer choice to fund the project than releasing map/etc DLCs which would separate the community.

game not even out of EA,lacks a lot of content to make it enjoyable but yeah,dump skins & keys already to "keep producing content". at least it is only cosmetical,not like in Derpday 2, but it is still a sign that priorities are not at finishing the game and make it ready to go retail at all

Well said. That's exactly how I'm feeling too :\ The game isn't finished, not by a long shot, and it's missing substantial content as befitting an "early access" title.. but that's never enough is it? No, they have to put even more commercialisation into the game. The unfinished game. Instead now resources are diverted away from creating maps, weapons, perks, content of any kind, into creating premium skins and models that you have to pay for.

The amount of people defending this on Steam makes my bile rise. Steam is a godawful place at the best of times, but the likes of this and PD2 (which many are STILL defending) really shows just how disgusting gaming has gotten.
