Not unless you get a pink mechanised pony to go along with it.

Still waiting for mods to add sexy ponys, thanks.

After 104 hours, I finally finished Very Happy Every single quest available *except* a handful that are locked out per faction when you finally choose one to side with. I also didn't bother doing more than one of each "permanent" quest that constantly refreshes itself. It really was a fantastic experience, definitely improved over Fallout 3 though the further streamlining of RPG mechanics is a real thorn in my side... the constant appeal to "wider audiences" is ripping gaming apart Sad

Ah well. Tons of quests, a fantastic world to explore, little to no challenge, shit male VA awesome female VA, Bethwriting, Bethbugs, Bethengine, great FPS combat.

Overall, definitely worth it and the upcoming CK will end up providing mods that completely rectify a large amount of issues.. though the writing and shitty engine will remain shitty Sad

There's no Assaultron added yet, but you can have Gen1/Gen2 synths Very Happy

Or you can find an Assaultron in the world and then use this to force a follower;

No. Just tested. Still drops to 43fps in city on a gtx980ti. Lower shadow distance to Medium to help fix until they patch.

Works fine here with the beta, just about to compare Fallout4.esm (Updated) with Fallout4.esm (Pre-patch.) to see what they changed as I suspect there's a number of undocumented changes (Probably even more if one was to have the means to compare the changes to the game exe pre and post patch.) but so far there's been no bugs though I've only played a bit over a hour with the update installed, oh and as mentioned framerate is identical and it still (silently) crashes on exit on occasion.

Yet another super-annoying, self-important asshole on youtube, but what he says in the first minute or so is kind of valid, regardless. After that, I turned off this abomination of a video.

Really now, people have no sense of proper behaviour nowadays. Recording a video with sunglasses on? If he did that to me in a face-to-face conversation, I would have slapped the fucker until the glass splinters carved holes in his fucking skull.

Ooops, I got a bit carried away. Time to pop a beer, methinks.

Using old exe on updated files is definitely not a good idea.
Updated cracked .exe is posted in rin for codex emu.

How much is there to explore on the south side of Diamond City? The same amount as above it?

There's quite a bit at the bottom of the map, the "dead sea" area in particular although exploring it is a bit of a pain for a certain reason.

Oh and there's a map here showing the level ranges of the various area in the game with the starting (blue) being level 1 and the red zones being level 50

http://cdn.gamerant.com/wp-content/uploads/Fallout-4-Collectible-Map.jpg

(In general the further south you go the tougher the opposition, plus the edges of the map are also somewhat high-level.)

Not *as* much as above, but definitely a lot Smile Oh and the ocean is completely empty... so all that enormous amount of map space in the east is likely going to end up being an underwater DLC. Tinkerers have already found a harpoon gun in the game files.

Ghouls have tasked you to take out FERAL ghouls, which are the ones that pose a threat.. remember? Wink There's a lot of quest hilarity in the game.. but this isn't one of those times Smile

There's some sunken boats on occasion but overall yeah the ocean has been pretty disappointing so far, swimming all the way out for a suitcase or two with minor random (often junk) loot isn't really that rewarding. Very Happy

When I'm done with this, I'm gonna rip this game apart from a thousand angles. Jesus, the game is infuriating... or at least what they did with it. I'm not even sure if mods can save it, just like they couldn't with Skyrim.

My overall impression so far is that it's made for fucking simpletons. It's like a themepark for idiots... one where they can never do anything wrong... always succeeding. And completely soulless. Everything feels so artificial and meaningless... bah. Loot is one of the worst I've ever seen. Their idea of the difficulty setting is just pathetic... and so on and on. So much wrong with this game. I constantly feel insulted while playing it.

Such a fucking shame.

(All highly subjective ofc, before someone wets his panties)

*EDIT* And that patchlog is indeed Pathesda...
