I have a strange issue with this game, so i have my on board sound card and my g35 headphones. when i launch this game, it refuses to use my headphones. i have tried disabling my on board audio.. i just get no sound.. i have tried compat mode win7 and win8 ..

anyone ever seen a game do this.. have a fix?

windows 10 is prolly the problem , it really hates the Logitech drivers and does weird stuff all the time

Jjust out of sheer curiosity i tried it on my old lapy with 740M where both Unity and Batknight are slideshow. So far it runs much better than those two there. Almost 30fps which is surprising for such worthless gpu.
As far as the gameplay - it reminds me a lot from ac2, javob is a dick, evie is cool . Not really sure what to thonk of punchy nature of combat rignt now...

Games seems locked to 30fps despite what the fps counter says.
Shows 60 fps but still feels like stuttering. Well will wait for possible 0day patch and nvidia drivers, but i doubt i will punish myself playing this.

Seems like there is strange bug where the game runs around 60fps and the cape and other clothing runs at 30fps. Looks weird thx Kiev

I don't have the issue sausje is having either, for what it's worth. Arrived in London and it basically runs the same as in prologue - 60-43-27-60-52-47-28-35-60. Dude Weep

From what I've read the game runs a lot better on 9XX than on 7XX, so yeah...

Yes with PCSS Ultra it drops to 20 FPS from 56-58 with FXAA.

Neon - same performance here as well

The gameplay is quite fun. Better than Unity. Combat is more responsive although rather weird looking at times and I do appreciate the rope launcher. I really like this setting though so I'm biased. Protagonists are quite nice as well although Evie seems to be the more interesting character so far.

Certainly miles ahead of COD's yearly offerings. Cool Face

PCSS and FXAA have nothing to do with each other.

PCSS = Soft Shadows
FXAA = Vaseline

I never meant that it did. Just that with shadows below PCSS and AA on FXAA it runs fine. Sry if my post was a bit confusing.

I just want to get rid of these flashes damnit.. I'm still due for the last nvidia driver update for FO4 but don't want to have my 770 borked even further by drivers Sad
And ofc no guarantee that it will fix the issue..
