It's either a massive paycheck, or the producer has pics of them fucking a donkey or something.
Technology. Just some common sense is enough to realize YOU ARE DOING IT WRONG when there are video games with better motion capture or hand animation.

Worse than the silly bad green screen are the stupid camera movements and angles. Do a fantastic movie, use cgi, use greenscreen, but don't put the virtual camera in the most stupid, generic and michael bayesque positions to get the viewer "immersed"... It looks absolutely silly.
It looks so shitty and bad I want to see it. (on rip of course)

How did he manage to grab her arm... Quite impressive hand eye coordination for that guy.
On a more serious note: I love it when they take mythology to the extreme, give a different view on things... but the quality in this is so shite. Writing will most likely be as terrible as the CG. Pity... for what could have been an interesting setting.
I like all of his films (well, I haven't watched Garage Days) but his best is The Crow. Dark City is his most overrated IMO.
