Have you tried using that configuration tool, that was posted on here already. (Don't know if that sets the FoV permanently though).
I had the tool last week, and just re-downloaded it.
The current version lets you launch the game from the tool, so I did that.
Here is the thing now.....it launches and runs at 90. However, if I go to the console and type in fov90 then fov80 just to see the difference, it sticks to 80. If I change it from 90 to 100, it changes back to 80.
Fucking weird. I just won't touch the console.......
@jackasshole what made me start this game(given none of the other tweaks worked for me) was this: hit up da console and type: fov 90 90 (90=x). You have to write it twice cause bethesda(something to do with the first being for 1st and second for 3rd camera and???).
Otherwise nice game, given the fact i really didnt expected nothing good.
Fallout 4 is utter crap, as was MGS V. The Witcher 3 stands head and shoulders above both of them and is unequivocally GOTY.
I enjoyed TW3 but FO4 is far more addictive to me. So much to explore and do - and I love the setting far more than a medieval-type one.
Again, I did not find witcher 3 funner. It was great for the story telling and graphics, but I frankly found the combat to be dull once you mastered it and the fact that nothing scaled was a big flaw for me. Even on the hardest difficulty the game was just WAY to easy since there was no scaling and I was easily out leveling everything since i'm a bit of a completionist and was racking up tons of XP. At least in the Bethesda titles since the game scales I can do whatever I want and not really have to worry about being to high level for shit. Sure, there are some main encounters that don't scale properly in the beth games, but wandering around stuff is for the most part going to provide me somewhat of a challenge if i'm not careful. In witcher 3 it just became jokingly easy and I lost all interest playing about 1/2 of the way through. The cool story and great graphics couldn't keep me attracted at that point. I'd love to see a mod for witcher 3 that provided scaling for the encounters, that way some level of challenge would always be present. Of course, because of how the combat works in Witcher 3 once you master it it's hard to make any challenge.
Is there any way I can change my character's appearance, after I left the vault?
Go into 3rd person mode and type slm player and hit enter in the console then hit b for body and hit accept and the camera will refocus on your face. Just make sure to quicksave before any tweaks incase the game bugs out.
Just found you can sell mods too. 1 vault-tec paint (1 Adhesive + 2 Aluminum + 1 Plastic) goes for ~150 caps.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
Started playing F4 a few days ago and as a lefthanded it's not really playable (can't configure keys properly), but I guess most of you already know this.
Anything known yet if there will be a patch coming for this? Can't seem to find anything about it and I don't feel like using keyconfig programs or whatever.
Could enjoy this game much more if I could play it properly
After about 20 hours it got more and more tedious and the lack of roleplaying started to really piss me off so I just went to finish the main story and just completed it at 28 hours.
It was good fun while it lasted but New Vegas was worlds better as an RPG, and I'm not looking for an FPS when playing fallout....
