Couldn't find the wank emote, but that x 1000000000000000000000.
I'll buy this one even after i played it for 300h+, just for the hope they will bring 3, 4 or 5 someday for PC
Is this tactical battles only or more like Suikoden with exploration etc.?
Pretty much tactical battles only. You have a small hub you run around and do shit(customize units, buy equipment etc.) in, but the battles are the meat of the game. I could be remembering wrong, though.
Saweet, I love Disgaea games, but I want the new ones . 4 and (quite possibly the best one to date) 5. I already played through number 2 on the PC using the ps2 emulator some years ago, and reached obscene levels for most characters incl. DLC in an obligatory 6 month mega grind in Disgaea 3. Number 4 is still sitting on my Vita relatively untouched still. C'mon NIS bring over the new one plz.

It's pretty much pure tactical battles with a wacky story latched on. It's all about grinding and leveling, and rebirthing your heroes dozens of times, to the point that they do obscene amounts of damage (like 998987885 dmg) but it's pretty deep in the sense you also level up the items you have too by going into an 'item world' which is essentially multi level dungeons, and lots of customizing of your characters.etc etc One play through (which won't take that long) is just the tip of the iceberg. It's looks simple on the surface but it's an intricate and deep system beneath it all.
edit: err I didn't read the quote above, so I pretty much just repeated everything that was already mentioned lol. Oh well.

Played every disgaea ever, good for you pc bros to finally get it too
It's such a cool series with so much depth, and asking you to exploit it however possible.
Like how normally you can just throw in 4 directions, but if you switch quickly between 2 directions and throw while the indicator is moving between them, you can throw diagonally?
That's the kinda shit that makes disgaea special
Likot Mosuskekim, Woodcutter cancels Sleep: Interrupted by Elephant.

That sucks. I hate twitch gameplay in my tactical battles.

As a quick introduction, my name is Robbie and I am the PR Coordinator here at NIS America!
Again, we are excited to announce the release of Disgaea PC in February 2016 and I wanted to share some additional information regarding the Disgaea PC release.
Below includes some comparison screenshots of new UI/sprites and map graphics versus the old UI/sprites and old map graphics. Please note that you can change the new or old UI/sprites and map graphics in Disgaea PC to your preference:
**New UI & Map Graphics (Set A) **Old UI & Old Map Graphics (Set A) **New UI & Map Graphics (Set B) **Old UI & Old Map Graphics (Set B)
You can also mix and match old & new UI/map graphics! So, you can have an older, original user interface & pixelated sprites, but have the updated map graphics that are optimized for your PC!
This is just the tip of the iceberg, as we will be posting more within this community and hopefully provide you with more updates as the release comes closer.
Dope, well it's pretty much the PSP version with some filters and shit and a updated ui but i think i will buy it anyway since i really want the sequels on PC as well.
Also the first game has by far the most entertaining characters and story in the series so i wouldn't mind another play trough.
The UI looks great but the sprites are blurry upres'd filtered blurriness Kind of like what Square-Enix did with Chrono Trigger on iOS. I wish they'd done a better upscaling of the sprites, keep their crispness without turning them into vaseline, but oh well, it's friggin' Disgaea on PC! I'm not even a fan of the series (nor any sRPG really, with the possible exception of Vandal Hearts) but getting more uber s/jRPGs on PC is *always* going to be a happy time for me.
The entire SMT series especially Nocturne is what you mean. Basically their entire catalog would do well on PC. Persona games would sell as well as any of the recently released JRPGs. Dumb, stubborn Atlus.
Signature/Avatar nuking: none (can be changed in your profile)
