Is there anything you can actually sell? All those junk items end up being useful.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
Another thing WHY do I have to drop the items to break them down, you should be able to break them down from you inventory if you are in a settlement would be so much faster.
err... you don't have to break them down. if you have the items in the workbench inventory, they're automatically broken down when needed.
edit: did not F5 enough (didn't see there was a reply already)
I haven't noticed though is all the stuff transferable between settlements? Or is the stuff bound to each workbench in a settlement? If you get my drift.
Can you get past him without killing? Or later in game you get access?
I tell him some military work, and he says ''confidence level 2%..negative.'' If I move forward, he starts shooting..

Been having fun pretending I'm not an absolute psycho with piper till I find a better companion. Everytime I see a bunch of non hostile people I leave her around the corner while I blackmail and most likely kill half of them. Then I go grab her and she is none the wiser.
She just recently told me how I'm a good person and I "get it" when 5 minutes earlier I was doing a drug deal and it ended with me murdering everyone for more stuff
Yeah some companions are apparently a bit "needy" in how they dislike stuff you do but that particular workaround should function on all of them to avoid bad rep.
Then you wouldn't have a game. If the game was realistic every area would either be completely picked over and worthless or rebuilt.
Fallout 1 and 2 as well as NV seemed to handle that fine.
And the first two were set decades before 4.
Or are people from the east coast just a bunch of lazy bums?
Having areas picked over would be nice. I mean, these raiders picked over this one building when they made it their base right? Doesn't explain why they just left everything in place when they first found the place.
Yeah, this will be our new Raider base, and I guess let's just keep all these skeletons sitting on these chairs or lying on this bed because eh.
I appreciate Bethesda putting in some effort into making the world a bit more believable, but it just feels like really lazy. So now we have more farms in the world, but the problem is a lot of these farms are just like down the road from a raider camp or a super mutant base, or some other threat.
Don't mind me, I'm just a lone guy operating my store here by the road. You get to Salem if you follow this road here, and if you want to find a quarry filled with Raiders just a short 2 minute walk over there.
But yeah, what appealed about Fallout was how people rebuilt from after the war. At least that's one of the things that really made me interested in exploring the wasteland in the earlier games.
Did Boston even get bombed? Because the damage to the city doesn't look like it was nuked. There's just a lot of ruins that didn't get cleaned up for some reason. Let's all just live in squalor, no problemo here.
If only Boston's people weren't so lazy the fps in the city wouldn't be so janky.

Hum... Cosworth dislikes my actions even when he's not with me (if he's somehow in the general area).
For example , I pickpocketed the traders who came to visit Sanctuary and I got the disapproval message.
Just started a new character because I felt I made some wrong choices and didn't fully understand what and what not to loot, and just didn't feel a connection to my character for some reason.. Anyone else always restarting RPG games over and over for this reason?
Also, am I the only one spending two hours making BOTH the male and female character while you just know you can only play one?

Yeah. Like a certain dude who doesn't like me picking locks. FFS. This is a really weird way to do approval/disapproval. I mean at least give it some context. Do you dislike me picking this lock because I'm stealing from somebody? Do you dislike me picking this lock because the room is slowly filling up with water and this locked grate is our only way out but you just really want to die?
Also yeah, while I like that power armor feels like power armor in this game, I don't like how what was probably the holy grail is now made in China and is available at your local supermarket for 2.95

Pretty sure inside settlements are the only place this happens so at least that's something.
Does anyone know how to use grenades in vats? One of my favorite parts of new vegas was hurling explosives in vats and watching the ensuing chaos. It was extremely satisfying.
Another thing WHY do I have to drop the items to break them down, you should be able to break them down from you inventory if you are in a settlement would be so much faster.
You can just put them in the workshop inventory in order for them to break down, if I'm not wrong?
I'm beginning to think I gimped my char with 3 strength for crafting. What is the minimum strength to have a good weight limit? I might start over.
Don't forget that you can also craft your equipment to be pocketed or deep pocketed to carry more stuff and also I have found more than one piece of armor that gives +1 strength.
Have unlocked hacker, locksmith, life giver so far. V.A.N.S by mistake. Have 4 more points left to spend. Haven't found anything else useful so far.

Is there a way to improve your companion's default armor? Haven't found one.
I like how you can now wear armor pieces over thin clothing, but the pieces are all ugly so far and they look like they would cause more damage if hit while wearing one.
I would like to keep my war of independence reenactor party going.
Yes that's nowhere near what great coats of that war looked like but close as I can get.
