In case anyone missed it you can press T while at any crafting table in an allied settlement to store all your junk there and have it available at all crafting tables in allied settlements.

EDIT: Oh you first have to be in tranfer menu of course.

i know you tried to help but you completely ignored my questions. just questioned my questions

please, can anyone answer my two questions clearly? Razz

You didn't mention the part about the download being slow on the main release. So how would one know about that. The norm is to stick to scene releases.

These RIPS that you're trying to get would essentially use the crack from CODEX right?

So you're saves should sync up if the future crack is from the same group too. For now, there is no way to say for certain if the saves are locked in anyway to CODEX's release, unless there is another crack out there and someone has tested their saves with both.

As far as update/patch goes, my experience with updating RIPS has been fairly easy against scene update. I would normally just point the update into the game install directory and it would patch the necessary files. I have updated so many RGMechanics releases and all have worked fine, even their saves.

However, if this game's saves are interchangeable between different crack groups, we can't say for sure.

the reasons for my questions didnt matter for the answer. i didnt think ppl need to know WHY im asking. just answer.

anyways, thank you very much for the answer. i installed a release called "steamrip noodle" and used the CODEX crack from a "only crack" download. it works well from the little i tested.

another question - what if i buy the game later? will my saves fit with the original files?

Yes there's plenty of room for improvement but mods will fix most of it rather quickly I'm sure. The important thing is that the foundation is very solid and the crafting system will open the door to some amazing mods! As someone who loves to build, I can't wait to see what they'll come up with.

What I do hope they'll fix, is placing walls - you can't place a wall at a 90° angle because the damn game keeps snapping to the other wall so it won't let me place it angled.

Yup, let's make another game with:
- tons of bugs - there will be unofficial fallout patch for sure,
- medicore gfx - there will be mods fixing that,
- grappy UI - becouse derpsoles.
Ppl will buy it anyways, so why to make an effort to make actually something GOTY?
CDPR did it right and game was way cheaper.
So yeah, I can moan.

The bugs are for Bethesda - Fallout 3 was relatively bug free after its patches so they'll get there.

Sure the GFX are not that great BUT
a) I'm not a graphics whore - this is an open world RPG and as such graphics take a pretty big step back in importance. I honestly don't give a flying fuck.
b) this is a positive thing for mods. Complex and top-end graphics only make it that much harder for modders to make mods that don't stand out like an eye-sore.

The UI I hate as much as anyone else here - I hated the Skyrim one even more but that got fixed as well.

In the end, we got a vast game with tons of potential and I for one am happy. In its current state it's perhaps a 80% game and no higher but with mods this can easily become a 95% game in my eyes.

DSR?

I think it's similar stuff as supersampling. Your resolution is not really that high, but the graphics are sampled from the higher resolution.

nvidia 980 gpus at least support this.

I've got a 780. My monitor is a 34UC97 34" 3440x1440 IPS WideScreen Super-Wide Curved LED. I'll keep playing with the options but I can't even get it to go into full screen mode. It's always boxed.

Just reading on some forums that super widescreen are not supported as it breaks the game. OMG this is an epic fail from Bethesda. Talk about a rushed POS :-/ Not happy at all...

Hi pal. I've tried it and it's still not doing anything. Tried lots of other resolutions below my native and still nothing.

tried the game ready driver? should work fine, but you wont get more than 30fps, so maybe its still a bad idea to use 1440p with that gfx card

I can live with all the changes they made, some good improvements even.
But the dialogue system is FUBAR.
I hate it when it is that unclear what your char is going to say. I hate that you are forced to skip questions, cant investigate further, cant go back up the dialogue tree.
Really all that is missing now is a time limit that forces a choice on you if you don't answer quick enough.
