Update 1.1.30.0 is available via a public beta branch, game is at version 1.1.29.0 so it's probably not more than a couple of smaller fixes, only the game exe was updated as well so it must be some code changes.
EDIT: Beta exe.

Once unlocked via VPN, do you have to stay on VPN or can you go offline? I've seen two different responses to this pages back.

Haven't tried it with this game but it varies. I've had games allow me to continue playing after disabling the VPN, others will say something like "this title is not yet available in your region".

Don't know if these edits work for this one though.
Anyway, first bug, I get into the powerarmor, jump down and suddenly my armor is stuck in mid air and I'm on the floor in my normal gear

I've been playing-playing for about an hour now and I'm definitely falling in love, as I knew I would  The atmosphere and design is just delicious, as long as you can push aside the grumbly grumblies about the terrible textures, lacklustre "baked" lighting (they claim it's dynamic but this has more in common with Rage than Fallout) and lousy models. It's not a gorgeous game by any means, but the ambiance is lovely 
M/K controls for the inventory are clunky as all hell, as Bob rightly said, due to the ridiculous number and spread of hotkeys - but on the other hand, first person combat is VERY VERY nice now, definitely leaps and bounds above FO3/NV. Make sure you disable mouse acceleration inside Fallout4.ini to get rid of that awfulness
60fps 99% of the time, though it may have a little jitter down to mid 50s. I strongly recommend everyone (unless you've truly got the hardware to spare, like a 970/980) to set God Rays to LOW. You lose IMPERCEPTIBLE amount of quality (seriously, check the nVidia/Geforce guide) and you gain substantial performance boost. Don't disable though, as that removes all god rays and it looks meh.
Oh and my kingdom for a weight mod! I'm such a friggin' packrat that I pick up everything not nailed down

60% of the time i get stuck outside the computer screens, I go into a monitor, and when i leave i get stuck... cant move... only jump... and i can't save and load the game. only load.

So I added iPresentInterval=0 and all the lockpick minin games run at 300fps... Anyone else having this issue too?

what did you expect when you disabled vsync?
use a fps limiter, like rtss in afterburner or something.
