what are those two metal boxes on the bottom? Something from a museum?
case is hot though. now get a new GPU and an SSD, and it's a proper PC
For whatever reason, Corsair decided the bottom of the inside was a proper spot to put hot swap bays for the 3.5 drives, not in the back compartment where everything else is. These are my storage drives I run my Plex/Storage off of. The SSD in the back is a Samsung 850 Evo 250GB. Again, whatever reason, the only HDD mounts in the back are for 2.5, so I'll be filling those up with 2.5 storage drives and getting rid of those ugly 3.5 in the front.
I have no use for a new GPU. My 7950 is sitting OC @ 1150/1600. There hasn't been a game out other than Ark that I can't run with everything turned up to max (I don't use AA though, never have).
I will be getting one later down the road when I move to 1440p but at this point, I never buy a generation card after my current one cause they always do rebrand/refreshes. After the R9 is done and gone and something replaces it, then it'll be worth upgrading. In it's current form, a 290x/390x isnt worth me throwing down another 400ish for a graphics card to gain only 20 extra FPS in games I don't even play or care about.
