Human's have an inane need to play with toys they can't play with. The grass just seems greener. That is also why you get upset fans when the toy doesn't deliver on their expectations.

Heh I used to be like that when I was younger and waited for a new game to come out, thankfully these day's it's pretty easy to just surf the net for something to pass the time with if you want to sit in front of the PC.
(Of course these day's it's also very easy to accidentally stumble upon spoilers for said games.)

na not midnight, im talking about noon tomorrow. thats where nz reaches the 10th and it will be unlocked (dont count on what steam says, they devs said 0:01 auckland time) and cc=NZ doesnt work for times well, you need a vpn for real counter

still its wrong time on steam, it showed wrong numbers for a few major releases in the last months and got changed short before the expected (not the prior shown) time

@Janz I'm merely basing it on the countdown time for MGS, which hasn't changed until a day before, seeing it still being the same, it's likely it's not going to be different tomorrow.
edit: And neither this one:

Germany is 12 hours behind New Zealand.
According to the Bethesda, the game releases at 00:01 "your local time"/everywhere. Which means 12:01 in Germany, being 12 hours behind, using a VPN.
That's 15 hours from now.
