but still the fucking survival instincts makes it no fun, try to stay away from the r3 button if you want to think about what to do
and "early" next year is not before march. plus usual delay it might end it in may which is by far the most reasonable date cause its time exclusive on xbox and may would be 6 months

Dusted off the JTAG! (and updated it)
The game itself is a lot like the last one, except iv not once encountered a proper puzzle yet. Expect lots of over the top explosives and stuff collapsing all around you.
Anyway, at certain places the fps drops to below 10, making it unplayable for some seconds, overall I feel the fps is pretty far from 30 im afraid. The gfx is pretty much what you expect from a 360 game, pretty shitty but with somewhat decent character models. Seems to have a good length, 21% after 3-4 hours.

8 hours if you rush through without collecting stuff and scavenging optional tombs i think?
have played ~3-4hrs now and just reached the fourth camp (think its the fourth, the first one inside the soviet installation)

Well not exactly, but I completed it at 63%. Still gonna search for parts to unlock new weapons and so on. I think there are more side quests too, but I tried to find them all before I finished the story.

I forced myself into stopping playing the X360 version, because the XONE version is releasing next week anyway, and you can really see the BIK vs in game transition and I feel like I'm missing the full experience.

Got into the Soviet place, now it's starting to slow down heavily (like literal 10 fps at times!), which is sad because it's really good.

I believe you, I guess what they were saying is getting all 50 skills would make it take that long.

iMARS had proof.jpg so surely it's retail... maybe old dashboard makes it disable some effects ? i didn't update to newest, mine is some september 2014 one..
Or maybe it's when using the title update 1 ? will try tomorrow, too lazy to fire up the x360 now.
The game looks as bad as the first screenshot here for sure. |
the effects seem to be there, at least I saw the lens flare on the start climbing section.
must be the title update that fixes the problems I assume. I did install the new dash and the title update before playing.
