Great episode. I really liked the soundtrack, direction and atmosphere. I have to say I enjoyed this first episode more than any previous AHS first episodes.
Btw, is it just me of Gaga scenes (getting out, hooking up with another couple and then...) is actually a tribute to The Hunger(1983)?
I enjoyed it sure it was a bit jumpy, but as long as things make sense in the end.
Anyway that jerks I opinion is shite, he hated season two

I saw things like that in here and in other "woman problems" topics so...... Am I the only one that thinks some authorities needs to be alerted about Saner and him possibly being a rapist and/or kidnapper ?
Saner is not being serious. Unless its the subject of Santa!

I enjoyed the start of the new season. It was suitably fucked up by AHS standards.
Spoiler:
Strap on drilldo! WTF?! I was cringing! Interesting story but doesnt seem the same without Jessica Lange. Also where was Evan Peters? Was he not in the first episode or did I just not recognise him? lol. Not sure about Lady Gaga yet. Im guessing she agreed not to do any nudity and looked out of place as the only one covering her nipples lol She does have a nice ass though
Man, the final song that plays on the season premier - ever since I first heard that song who knows how many years ago - this setting is EXACTLY what popped into my head. It's like the show read my mind - fucking unreal.
Spoiler:
The song was the surreal Hotel California by The Eagles - read the lyrics, it's downright disturbing how well it fits!
Episode two was great overall as well.
Spoiler:
The entire black and white history of how the hotel and its owner came to be was fucking beautifully twisted. Gave me a total flashback to The House on Haunted Hill for some reason.
This is shaping up to be a season I'm actually going to very much enjoy (first one I'm loving since Season 1). The asylum was wasted potential, the coven was meh, the traveling freak-show was just downright stupid silly, but this...THIS is how nightmares are fucking made. Nothing more is needed than some slick cinematography and the perversity of the human spirit.
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

I have no words to describe how shitty this season is. It's even worse than circus season. Lady Gaga has a total of one single facial expression and one tone of voice in her acting repertoire.
I gave it a few episodes hoping it will improve but it's sinking to new lows.

Best season since the second so far, really enjoying it!
This show really pisses me off now with this seasons 'trying to be edgy' bullshit. I still tolerate watching through all the homo sex scenes, but the uber 'progressive' message is starting to be intolerable. They can't even keep their own characters straight, and this latest episode reinforces my opinion on that.
So they've got crossdressing/tranny dude living in the hotel who specifically says he isn't gay a few episodes back. Why would they make this comment to begin with? Well they're trying to cater to the SJW crowd and try to make people believe that drag queens/crossdressers can do that shit and not actually be gay. OK fine, whatever.
What do they do this episode though? Welp, first thing folks our drag queen is having gay sex. Didn't he JUST fucking say he wasn't a homo? Da fuck? I bet the SJW's are lapping this shit up.
Good visuals, great cast (Besides lady dipshit gaga, who BTW surely stole the role from Jessica Lange who is an incredible actress and for her age is far more attractive then gaga), good plot, but this overbearing gay shit obviously trying to cater to the younger SJW crowd is really pissing me off. As stated they can't even keep their fucking message straight. I guess it is truly a 'horror story' hearing about some drag queen who says he isn't gay but the very next day is taking it up the butt.

Perhaps you should have paid more attention when watching this season.
Are we even watching the same show?
We're talking about the hotel reception dude who was married and was on a business trip. He came to the hotel on a business trip and Lady 'dipshit' Gaga vampire lady told him to crossdress and be proud. His business partners see him in the hotel. Gaga kills them. She offers him a job at the hotel where he can be free to crossdress for the rest of his life. He specifically states he is not gay, and that he has a penis in multiple episodes.
