Kinda "depressing" the game isn't yet fully cracked or I am not updated on this one?

I have the game+Reaper of souls Legally and I can play whatever I want, but I hope for "offline mode",at least unofficially.

No crack yet, the old mooege emulated server stuff hasn't been updated in years.

Yeah, the old blizzard game hackers all went into hiding... The rumor is that Blizzard lawyers knocked on their doors and they all caved in, that's why mooege was abandoned this fast.

The Demonbuddy bot makers are still in a legal battle with Blizzard which prevents them from selling their product in Germany and there isn't much else. TurboHUD is just an overlay, and there is only one other bot, otherwise the hacking community for this game is dead.

Noone with the technical knowledge required to build a full server emulator, and the guts to face legal reprecussions.

I just wish Blizzard would stop being enormous cunts and just offer us a separate player offline option already. "Piracy" piss off, the game is out on 360 and PS3 and neither have online-only DRM. If they're worried about hackers/dupers/etc, just keep on/offline completely separate! Make it so offline characters cannot have anything to do with online, not via any means, and let us play our way Sad

Blizzard has refashioned itself into an online game developer. Granted, I really like all the games they make, somehow they're "right for me", but it makes me wonder... could LotV be the last game with a single-player campaign and storyline by Blizzard?

It's kinda sad...

That I think depends on whether or not Warcraft 4 will be a thing, and if the rumored second Diablo 3 expansion is true. Lore is massive for Warcraft and so if they ever do another RPG-RTS, there's no reason it won't have a single player campaign. I seriously doubt they will force it to be a multiplayer only campaign.

As to whether you can play it offline... Blizz have been giving off mix messages lately. On one hand they do anti-consumer stuff like F2P games with expensive micro-transactions, online only games, expensive mounts for WoW, etc. Yet just recently they let you earn gold and exp for playing bot matches in HotS.

Personally I think the SC2 side of things have been wonderful, especially in the last few years.

Even that campaign they're squeezing out slowly and with great anguish, like a big hard log of shit.

Motherfuckers should have made those campaigns in an episodic format, a new campaign each year, in the first 2-3 years after SC2 they should have released the 2 other races' campaigns already. They could also have released single-player content as DLC, like a map challenge pack based on significant battles in the franchise like: Survive 30 minutes this Zerg onslaught. Or defeat the Terrans before they activate their psi emitter etc etc.

They also could have created a starcraft-based Dota clone back when the market wasn't saturated with them. It would blow these gay ass warcraft 3 generic fantasy ones out of the water.

They are profoundly retarded and slooowww-acting IMO.

Well, there are micro transactions for the Chinese I think.

But I really wanted to see if there will be a new expansion. They've hinted it but I guess it's not ready or they meant it will be a sequel instead Sad

Usually it is 2 years for an expan for Blizz... yet no announcement this year mean it is getting unlikely there is one at work.

I will admit I would throw money at them if they'd introduce stash space like they do in china. I've actually grown to love the game with the changes they've been making.

It looks like you're on your period. But yes, I would. You don't want to know how much stash space I bought in Path of Exile or Marvel Heroes. You'll probably mention those games are F2P, but I think it's a fair way to let B2P games continue to release actual content patches like they have been doing instead of letting it die.. which is more of a standard this day and age.
I probably would've gone hell no before this last patch as well, but I probably spent more time in D3 this season than I did all previous seasons combined.

That's not to say that I want B2P games to come with micro transactions present, don't get me wrong. But this is a grey area I would fall victim to.

I stand corrected. A bit more hostile than expected even.

I don't see the problem in this specific case. You may be happy with the amount of stash space. I am not. Maybe you're not and would like to see them make it unlimited for free. Of course that'd be my preference, but that's not likely, considering the thing is online only Sad . It only becomes a problem when companies start to purposely limit the amount in the hopes of making more money off of it, thereby impairing the enjoyment of others who just want to buy the game and play it. Unfortunately in this time where DLC and microtransactions run rampant, this is the more likely scenario .. and that makes me as sad as anyone here.

Yes, because D3 reportedly sold something crazy like 30 million copies to date. If that doesn't warrant free post-release support and maintenance, including something trivial like sufficient stash space for loot, and makes you want to pay a premium then you might as well give Activion your bank details and let them take all your monthly earnings like the bitch you are. The "just take my money lol" mentality is exactly what is running gaming into the ground long-term.

You're paying them to remove some artificial limitation they imposed on your already paid for copy of the game. You're not even paying them for some extra content or whatever. It boggles my mind that I even have to explain this to you.

You don't have to, I understand it perfectly, and I agree with you.

I was just dumb and honest enough to admit I would fall into that trap in this case.
Luckily for all of us, blizzard is going with your version, and putting up extra stash tabs you can get through the seasonal journey. Looks like I'll be playing next season as well Very Happy
