I really like the idea of settling and building in the wasteland. I'll probably be stuck doing that for hours after the initial hand-holding. Laughing

PLZ some more people asking for "cracked release" especially those that have been here long enough, very disappointing you still need to ask even if you know better

Wait for fucking Monday.

He just said on stream the game has leaked. Just not in the way we want it to. The guy who was streaming was not given the game by Bethesda directly, but from a friend who works in the gaming industry.

He wouldn't upload it, because you could get in real legal trouble. His friend should already be in a heap of legal trouble. If Bethesda was okay with "friend-sharing", wouldn't we all be friends right now?

Thing is, that streamer does not want to take the risk of spreading the review copy while it might contain a tracker.

Yup! That's the point, it's what we keep saying to anyone "hoping" for a release; it's NOT going to happen. Pete Hines has already been lamenting the PC-based streams going up online, saying that they haven't sent out any non-reviewer copies, so the streams are coming from reviews.. and NOBODY is going to risk their job and livelihood by uploading a pirate copy of the game. Nobody is that stupid. They could even face prosecution.

We are all waiting here, are we not? I don't see why you have to keep pointing at people who have different opinions than your own.

The streamer literally admitted to having a "pirated" copy of the game, seeing as he is not a reviewer himself. I don't believe I'm the only one bothered by this.

Then he either lied or he got it from a friend who IS a recognised reviewer. There can be no "pirated" copy from the PC without access to a review copy Smile

Since I more or less checked out of this months ago, without any skills how is your character supposed to do anything?

You have the "S.P.E.C.I.A.L" attributes and then those are tied to a number of perks that gives you bonuses.
(Most appear to be combat related, no level cap either so even playing legitimately will allow you to unlock everything, though I bet it'll take a while.)

Full perk list was posted some pages back I think (Thread moves pretty fast so I'm unsure where that post is now.) and there's also been a few videos posted where Bethesda showed the S.P.E.C.I.A.L attributes and how they work in this game and some of the perks.

@Rashoumon Because you believe the bullshit. Instead of using your head and listening to people that have been playing pirate copies for a longer period than those "Reviewers" and can tell what's possible and what isn't Wink

I point at people all day, but especially when they're using false facts and are too stubborn to believe the real deal. That's JackQ denial level, seriously.

That's exactly what he said. Which makes it a pirated copy. Laughing

Also makes it pointless, because sharing with friends is one thing, sharing with the internet another.

Can a reviewer say whether he likes or does not like the game with some bullet points, or is that not allowed under the utterly retarded review embargo system?

It's not. He said he got a retail copy from a friend who works at a store. Has nothing to do with piracy .

This is the official lettering:

We hope you’re having fun exploring the Wasteland in Fallout 4. We know your followers are eager to hear more about the game. If you’d like to reveal when your review or launch coverage will run, you can share beginning this Friday, November 6 at 10 a.m. PST.

Please keep in mind that the embargo below is still in place.

All review coverage is under embargo until Monday, November 9 at 8 a.m. EST.

This embargo also includes streaming gameplay footage or posting impressions from your experience on social media, etc.

We do ask that you avoid including story spoilers in your review coverage.

Please let us know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Here is what he said before I turned off:

- 25 years old
- not disabled
- played about 32 hours
- super powerful computer, everything on ultra, and still had framedrops (60+ to 30) and stuttering some places (GTX980 SLI, 32GB ram, some i7 uber cpu)
- got the (pc version) from a friend who works in a gaming magazine (or so)
- streaming the game is not illegal
- did not want to upload because it could create legal trouble

He was obviously not the one that signed any NDA, and he sold out his friend that shared the game with him. If he changed his answer to "got it from a friend at a game store" aftewards. Well. Rolling Eyes

I don't want to spoil your joy but those drops might alse be caused by not having proper SLI profile. I'm not saying that the game is in good condition but playing any game without proper SLI profile might cause issues like that.
