Yeah me too. So I copied the game folder to SSD, installed mod, start up... log in invalid. Name's RELOADED and password is "1". All firewalled up. This used to work in the past. What happened?

Just tried the Arcc mod (replied in the 2205 thread) it will not work with the original game, tells me I have the wrong version installed (I don't). tried the Anno cookie thing no luck. anyone got this working with the original game?

No, but if it works on the cracked version why wouldn't it work on the original?
Do you have the Deep Oceans addon? Game version 2.0.7780. Think that might be required. Anno Cookie is only needed if you want to go online with the modded game.

I wish I could help you Reg67, but I haven't found the time to re-download the game+mod yet dammit.  
Looking at the FAQ, this was mentioned among the potential reasons, a long shot but I guess it's worth a try:

The mods work fine on ubi version?
My specs:
Ryzen 5950x @ boosting 5ghz, Gigabyte x570 Aorus Master, 128gb G.Skill Trident Neo pc3600 ram, nVidia RTX 5080, SoundBlasterX G6, Samsung 980 Pro m.2 1TB and Hynix m.2 1TB storage SSD. Custom watercooling loop.
Derpsole: Nintendo Switch, Derpstation 5 Pro

Dunno m8. Maybe the autopatcher overwrote some of the mod's files like mentioned above? I think it overwrote the exe in my case at least before I blocked it which broke the crack.

Thanks, I don't think it is that as the game was fully patched before I tried the mod, I was going to uninstall the game and re-install, but am wary of Ubisofts ridiculous 3 strikes protection routine, although I am sure I read that has now been removed? If not I will just install the 'non' Ubisoft version.

Ah the joys of being cheap. I own two copies of 2070 (regular account I used to lend to people for coop). Main is a digital deluxe I preordered. Never got around to buying Deep Ocean and knowing it's been on sale for significantly less than the current asking price I'm using a crack.
