so i assume that there have been no reviews because there is a release date review embargo? which suggests this is going to be a pile of shit, and is the reason I've stopped pre-ordering.

I just rented this for PS4 because I want to play the single player but campaign is not selectable. I need to keep my PS4 offline because I have Fallout 4 phantom that i don't want to get locked if i connect online. Do I need some online update to play single player? That seems backwards, play online is selectable.

Yeah the game had to download the campaign. Took a while if I remember correctly. Downloads zombies, followed by multiplayer, followed by the campaign.

Oh yeah it just had to install the campaign but it didn't need to connect online which is what I cared about, so I'm good.

Beat the campaign, pretty damn good campaign I must say. Maybe the best COD campaign since the single player only CODs (1, 2 and 3 I think)

It's at GameTZ.com but I can't really help you because you need 50 trades there and also be in the U.S. or Canada to get those trades which I have no idea about where you are but you still need the 50 trades it's a feedback system sort of like Ebay you give each other good feedback that's how many trades you need for a gold star which is required to enter the gameshare section.
Basically the gameshare section is where people buy the game at full price digital and they can share that with one person so usually they'll sell to one person for around $20 for whats called a locked spot, it means you're playing off their account so you don't get your own trophies, and then they sell an offline only spot for really cheap like 8 dollars because most people don't want to have to leave their consoles completely offline as long as they own the game that's how I got Fallout and I don't mind leaving my PS4 offline for a few months. But whenever I did connect online next they could lock the game which prevents me from ever playing it again and you can't redownload so a lot of people avoid that.
I mean technically you guys could do it here if you wanted but it does involve some trust because whoever first purchases it has to make a seperate user account on the PS4 and has to give the other people that buy it the login and password to be able to download the game so someone could go rogue and change the password and steal the game, that's why they have the 50 trades at gametz so that they know you're a trustworthy member. It just takes people willing to buy the games and be the hosts. They also do it at cheapassgamer.com I could provide you a link and you don't need 50 trades there but there are people that will ignore you and call you a noob if you try to buy a gameshare. I just happen to be established on both sites but there's probably others that I'm unaware of.
Except for Fallout I usually just rented games off people you can get any PS4 game for $1 to $3 to rent for a week off a few people that have like every game between them. It's awesome but it does take being an established member of a community usually.

Hey all - i have played all the Cod's over the years and ill be honest i love playing through the campaign more than online on most of them (sorry)
i started advanced warfare but didnt really get into it, all the futuristic stuff etc, i dunno..
is blops3 better/worse/the same?
worth a purchase
nforce reviews more trustworthy than those paid for ign bs reviews.

I think the campaign is worse than AW so far.
Exactly like you I got irritated fast with all this futuristic bullshit. Didn't like futuristic levels in blops2 either.
