Don't get me wrong, I love TES and the new Fallouts and would really like FO4 to be great, but I have no doubt whatsoever that Beth can - and probably will, sadly - always dumb down things in-game even further.
Consequence: let's hope there's not only TWO dialogue options on PC...

Can someone here explain to me how the new dialogue system is worse than in the previous games? Considering the fact that the main guy is fully voiced now it might be hard to display complete answers, and 4 options mean nothing - this might be the sign of logical branching, that's all. I don't understand all the negativity. I mean it's not like it's friendly/investigate/hostile scenario.

Seems in exchange for a "properly" voiced character we're getting shortened dialogue options, that's not much of a surprise.

They're not shortened as far as I can tell from the video. Chances are they're summaries of long voiced answers. Like for example *) "Tell me more" and he goes like "Tell me more about this... Vault". Or *) "Glad you're here" - "Then I'm glad you caught up with me"
I know these are not the best examples but still you can get the idea.

@Drowning_witch We can be glad there was a shitton more than one be and end all like SKY UI for Fallout, so I'm sure we'll see someone being pissed off enough of the console interface to make it pretteh.
@Ohshi Gotta see, not very hopeful right now though. On the other hand I cba and won't stand looking at anything that has been posted the past 3-4 pages.
Overall I'm mostly not sure I like the system how the "dialogue options" are spread out.
