This is the (free) gift that just keeps on giving Smile.

I don't even care about playing the game. I just get entertainment from following this fiasco.

Realistically though, if you want to play the game, you may as well do it now. I don't see them "fixing" this much more than what it is, regardless of what they promise.

Reading the Steam forum it sounds like SLI still isn't working and Gameworks still runs like shit. So what the hell has Nvidia been doing this whole time when they said they were helping to fix the game?

How about fixing basic things first before jumping on extra features?

Basics are left to Rocksteady and Iron Galaxy. SLI and Gameworks are the only thing Nvidia should have been working on. Plus WB specifically said in two updates that SLI would be fixed at release, and it isn't.

Forget the rest of the shit that car ruins the game.

See I like the car, but I think I would have liked to to only be used in certain sections, which made sense to the game - and ALL Riddler sections shold be utterly car-free - how would he know Bats would bring his wheels, when he never bothered in the past...

Well I'm getting better framerates in Arkham Knight than I do in Witcher 3 and I'm not suffering stuttering. Still not an acceptable port by any stretch but for me it's running 60fps with drops to 45 in batmobile. Now I just want them to fix the fucking rain.

Dafuq are you talking about? Even Doom back in 1993 ran at 35fps and it was a very demanding game for the time.

60fps has been the standard for more than a decade, because that's what most LCD monitors' refresh rate is.

60fps has been the standard for over 20 years. It's only changed to 30fps ("and you better like it, you goddamn elitist pig!1111") since the advent of the shit-ass PS360 generation that latest a goddamn DECADE and not only stunted progression, but also resulted in an enormous REgression in both performance and resolution. So yeah, I think you're in the wrong section if you're going to be preaching to us about "30fps is great! Elitist swines!" Wink

We are very sorry that many our customers continue to be unhappy with the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight. We worked hard to get the game to live up to the standard you deserve but understand that many of you are still experiencing issues.

Until the end of 2015, we will be offering a full refund on Batman: Arkham Knight PC, regardless of how long you have played the product. You can also return the Season Pass along with the main game (but not separately). For those of you that hold onto the game, we are going to continue to address the issues that we can fix and talk to you about the issues that we cannot fix.

Thank you,

Caved with the patch out & it barely costing 20$ on some sites for the premium edition, this with the promise they'll gift the older games on your steam account made it seem like a nobrainer.
Have to say it runs fine on my machine so far though, though on normal as i got a 780 with only 3gb vram. 50-60fps on a 2500k, no stuttering.

It's another one of those games without tripple buffering for people who use vsync tho, i hate it when they can't implement tripple buffering properly, but at least a simple alt tab every time you start up the game seems to fix it for whatever reason.
