Everest 7/10. Good cast and good acting, but anyone who has seen this type of movie before will pretty much know how the story is going to play out. The side plots about the wives back home felt unnecessary.

Well, everything was better. The new one doesn't look so good when compared now. The music was great, and so was everyone in the movie. Both kids were cool as well when compared to new movie.
All these years never had an idea where these cool .gifs were from.
How are other parts? II and III?
_
As for Mad Max, I didn't get why was Max there in first place. The movie goes perfectly fine without him.
_
Tomorrowland - 6/10. Was okayish. Some fun moments here and there. | Finally This was either the first or second movie I saw in the theaters
If you liked Jurrasic World, I can't think of a reason why you wouldn't enjoy JP 2 & 3. They were OK.

Same for me . Jurassic Park was the first movie that I saw in a theater, it blew my mind so much that I had to go and see it two more times. And then I begged my parents for months until I got the beast 24/7 xD
Good on you IAA, better late than never
I wasn't a big fan of JP3 (I preferred 2), but they're still more than decent flicks with ye traditional ol' school feel that nowadays sadly isn't present anymore, since everything is artificially oomph'd.

From the previews I've seen I bet it's going to land right in the middle of both your views: Mediocre.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan
6.5/10
Nice light hearted colorful hindi movie which tries to convey a serious message (meh).
I don't remember My Name is Khan that well anymore, but I think Bajrangi is better... and I'm not sure if Shah Rukh Khan could act if his life would depend on it

Pixels - 7.5/10
Awesome, computer pixels are in again in older format like asteroids and pac man. Great actors, Dinkleage, Sean Bean, it's GOT all over again.

Paranormal Activity 6: The Ghost Dimension. 6/10 *generous alert*
I think I need another sequel.. Spoiler: | So now the whole thing became about making that daemon, Toby, of flesh and bone. Accomplished, now WTF? We need a next movie OR spin off that finally goes into what I've been waiting for years to happen: the Great War against the rising Demon/Witch Army!!!
Anyway, liked that Ghost Cam they had built in the late 80s which sees their realm. Also, time travel was a huge part of this movie now explaining some things but, as always, asking more than giving. Pah! | Thank Gawd I never pay for this stuff since 2007 when it started. Its been entertaining I suppose but best consumed when offered totally for free.

Inside out 6/10
Bit of a wasted opportunity this one. It's the typical thing of Pixar that I expect lately. Great idea and subject... starts of nicely but then they start to focus on the wrong parts making it drag on/bit boring in the second part to end with a strong emotional part.
The thing I liked the most were those shorts of what was happening in the brain, not so much the forgotten memories/let's get back drab.
Had some really great/funny moments, it just bored me enough to earn that 6 instead of a higher rating.

5/10
Boring crap. It gets 5 for having Rebecca
1) Lenovo Legion 7 (AMD Ryzen 7 5800H, RTX 3080 16Gb, 32Gb DDR4, SSD 1TB +2TB

Beasts of No Nation - 8/10 (intense!)
Zombeavers - 4/10 (had its funny moments, but what do you expect from zombie beavers?)
Fantastic Four (2015) - 6/10 (not nearly as bad as everyone says it was)

Everest - 7/10
Pretty impressive production value given the modest budget and despite a couple of slightly dodgy accents the performances are mostly great. I felt the editing was sometimes uneven, though, as often I had a hard time keeping track of who was who and which part of the mountain they were on.
A friend of mine died near the summit in 2010 and his body is still up there, so this was a gruelling but ultimately quite satisfying experience.

~6.5/10
Guy Ritchie, stick to what you do best - proper British crime\comedy flicks. (Snatch, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels)
1) Lenovo Legion 7 (AMD Ryzen 7 5800H, RTX 3080 16Gb, 32Gb DDR4, SSD 1TB +2TB
2) SFFPC (streaming via Moonlight+ Sunshine)

Fantastic 4 - 3/10
That was most definitely not fantastic. At all. CGI was shit, characters were lifeless, story was senseless and it just meandered from scene to scene without any decent pacing or cohesion. The Craptastic Bore.

hbo rules, too many penises though. Funny as hell especially if you're a tennis fan, snorting cocaine from the lines was gold.

The Martian - 7/10
Was ok, good performance etc. but oh so predictable and Hollywood would do well in not using their overused tropes all the time, especially for this kind of movie.
"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."
