I don't get it, just last night I was watching all these different videos with him and then today I go to watch some more and now they're all blocking me.

This one I watched quite a few times:

This video contains content from Lonely Planet Productions, Inc.. It is not available in your country.

Yet my buddy a state over from me can watch it fine.

I'm not running anything different than I was. Even tried running it without uBlock on the off chance that had something to do with it.

Apparently the record label is located in Germany.

Probably gonna work anywhere in the world except US.

@spykez: welcome to the new world! its fucking annoying to use unblocker for specific videos (they wont even show up in your search in the future), in germoney we have to do that since a long long time

Yeah. Which is why I pay for a good VPN (yearly) for my media box Wink UK blocks all here. Fuckwits.
