This is the new DnD, the rules have been streamlined after 3.5 to accommodate them for simpler video games and MMOs. The skills are nothing like they were in Mask of the Betrayer (sadly), but the game is pretty enjoyable and can be quite difficult at times. I'm playing on hard and I had to come out with some crazy tactics to win some of the early battles (didn't finish the prologue yet).

I gave the pre release version a try... .. uninstalled after 15 minutes or so..
I just can't take it after having played Witcher 3.. 
1) Lenovo Legion 7 (AMD Ryzen 7 5800H, RTX 3080 16Gb, 32Gb DDR4, SSD 1TB +2TB
2) SFFPC (streaming via Moonlight+ Sunshine)

Game seems like a seriously amateur effort, all across the board. Got semi excited when i saw some form of adventure creation and DM modes, but this is garbage compared to every editor ever.
Not sure I have the enthusiasm to play singleplayer after seeing the animations and combat.

Quite a number of backgrounds too although it's been reduced to just starting gold and minor attribute bonuses it seems, makes Noble a bit unbalanced since the others start with around 10 - 25 gold and Noble start with 800 (And some fine drinks.) but you'll lose out on either a attribute point or a (minor) bonus such as +1 extra damage, sometimes some of the backgrounds also have different items but it seems pretty minor too.

Story and quests are crap so far.
Combat feels pretty much like Dungeon Siege, minus the loot.

What's really pissing me off though is the black screen switch between every character conversation. Also I can't select full screen mode so it's stuck in a window... Oh and it looks like ass and...
I could go on
