try waiting for the confirmation in game by activating the checkpoint save and objective completion before finishing the mission. I never had this problem in game though.

i hated the "listen to all conversations"
half the time the convesation script bugged and didnt play, half the time i did listen and they didnt count

Uhm... this is my first MGS game and I find the direction to be super silly and the gameplay... bland. Is there something I don't quite understand or what?

Why does this game have xbox controller layouts and stuff on PC in the menus??

Another patch came out, no info yet on what was changed but some posts on the Steam community forums reported that the (mostly useless but somewhat shiny.) golden bionic arm has now been removed.
(Exe was updated along with both 00.dat containing the updated game data and 01.dat containing updated art assets, or at least when I unpacked it after the previous patch was released all that it contained was some textures.)

In a way you might be right, patch content seem to include the previous XBox exclusive DLC stuff such as the new outfits for Snake and Quiet which were rumored to be released on PC and PS4 this week.
(So 1.0.4.1 doesn't really patch anything, it just prepares the game for the release of these DLC by including the necessary files, guess that means it can already be used if one used a Steam loader or similar.)
